Anyone? ideas/suggestions on why my slave is randomly running off into the distance or running off to attack a different mob when I press the 'interact' button? The slave should be fighting the target in which the main has targeted.

Best way to box mele in my opinion is to have /follow last in every ability macro or use Jamba strobing.
Run through the mob with your main, that way all are in range to hack and slash.
Playing Hord on FrostWhisper - EU at the moment.

My slave does this sometimes. If your slave does not have a target selected, they can do unpredictable things. Make sure you are pressing your assist key first. You need to also give WoW some time to get the correct target (lag).

What I tend to do is press my assist key, use an ability on my main to create a pause, then press interact with target. There is enough of a delay between the assist command the interact command for WoW to make the slave get a target.

Also if my slave does run off, I just press my follow button to bring them back again.

    FYI my keybindings are:

    WASD - main move
    E - follow
    F - assist
    G - interact
    Q- mount

You should have a system where you can see what your slave has targeted as well; like X-Perl or Pitbull unit frames - using one of these, you can wait until you see that your slave has the correct target before pressing interact with target.

    Hope that helps!

Great! Thanks for the follow up. I will implement everything and just jump right back into it!
