It could be purely optional to use, and set to off by default like the auto follow is.
Eeek, could you explain this a bit more. I'm not quite sure what you are requesting...

Edit: Lets see what your response to Ugh's post is...

..is there a way (or will there be) to do it like the 'old' version does?
I am going to _try_ and solve this with profiles first before I add enable/disable buttons in. Or perhaps I could add another system tag - inactive which you would tag your characters with by /jamba-tag deactivate toonname and /jamba-tag activate toonname. Just some thoughts...

    I have a question.

Why do you want to deactivate a toon? Does Jamba do something while they are active and/or online that is annoying?

As you might guess I asked this with the jamba-ftl-module in mind, to check which toons shoudl be used for the ftl-macro.
I solved this in the module, by simply adding a variable for this, so there is no need to change anything...

..in general i found the option quite handy, if i wanted that an online toon is temporarily not included in the jamba Team, but as you said with tags this also could be done simple...

This is actually what I use on my teams, but once in a while, I'll notice that they still don't hit the right targets when I'm mashing the button. Guess it's just the lag on my end or something. I'll suck it up and just stick to this method. I was mostly curious if the /assist strobing would be possible tho.

All my attack macros have /assist focus in them, even my Consecration spell on my Pally team has this in a macro too. /assist focus /cast Consecration, that way I can spam this one button and they still target my target.

Jafula, don't worry about that option, I do however have another idea to run by you. Would it be possible to add in an option for accounts that use gathering professions like Mining/Herb to auto-ping their minimap on nodes that they are seeing so that the pings show up on the leader's minimap to indicate there's one near by? Reason I ask, is cause I have alot of crafting professions on my main account I use as leader and gotten pretty high up with and don't want to give up for a tracking/gathering one.

Yep, you're hitting the lag problem. For me, it's much worse in instances, whereas it is nearly instantaneous outside. Of course, I may not be the best example as I'm sitting at 7-10ms pings to my server. :P

Argh. New bug in the 0.5 dev version: When talking to the NPC to train new spells, alts randomly close the NPC's dialog window when the master clicks the "learn new talents blah blah" option. I can repro this 100% on my shammies. I'll try it later on my other chars.

[edit] And found another bug. Just got the "Howling Wind" drop off an elemental out in Nagrand. /use it to open the quest dialog on all 5 shammies, but Jamba won't click accept on any of the alts. When I manually accepted on all 5, I figured I'd abandon it and try again but when I open the quest log, select "The Howling Wind" quest and click "Select," Jamba reports, " {charname} - I do not have the quest: The Howling Wind." Very strange. I had no problem with this quest using 0.4 jamba builds on my last few groups.

I'll keep the howling wind quest in case you want me to try some debug for you.

[edit2] Same bug with Murkblood Invasion Plans quest. Seems to affect drops that start quests.
[edit3] Same bug with the Wanted poster quest "Felling an Ancient Tree" in Thunderlord Stronghold, Blades Edge Mountains. Alts won't do anything.

Thanks for your ongoing bug reports Ugh.

I've put up a new version that fixes all of them...

I didn't have trouble pushing settings with non grouped team members. I did have to wait 30 seconds after reloading the UI before I could actually send commands (Jamba Team needs time to warm up).

If you have some time, I wonder if you could test Jamba-Proc with Parrot? You should be able to make a customer screen area in Parrot and have all the Jamba-Proc messages go there.

If Jamba-Proc doesn't make sense, I'm here to answer questions!

Edit: My website is down (well it is for me) so apologies if you cannot get to the file :-(.

Hey, cool. I just got my last bit of hard fence repair work done today so this afternoon is WoW time! Lemme see if I can get it and I'll keep poking at things.

    Cheers,
    Ugh

[update] Got the new version. Accepts the Howling Wind drop quest fine.

Still reports that alts do not have the quests when clicking "Select" in the jamba-quest strip. Does this for all quests in the log, not just one.

Not doing that here. Did you change it from default to something else?
