    Update 11

New module: Jamba-Purchase - same functionality as 0.4 version, except missing slash command to add item (not going to implement this).
    Jamba-Quest: New slash command - /jamba-quest autoselect <on|off|toggle> <tag>
Jamba-Quest:Slave and master wording changed to Toon and Team.
Jamba-Quest: Auto share quest now only works for the master.
Jamba-Quest: Auto accept escort quest now reports the name of the quest it accepted, not a random quest from the quest log.

So how close it the new version to being as fail proof as the old version. I don't want to beta test, I want to play WoW. I am happy to support Jafula and the Beta team but updating is "my bad"
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

    Jaf,

I have to tell you the Delay Follow After Combat has me a little nervous. When this mod finally goes live it will have greater visibility and if there is anything that I feel might be controversial it is the strobe and follow delay after combat. Thoughts?

Follow was the only movement function that Blizzard have NOT protected in their WoW API. I don't know why, but *I* assume that they must consider it harmless enough that to leave it unprotected.

In my opinion (and you need to make up your own mind), it is therefore okay to use this function in addons, in whatever manner we see fit, exactly like we use the function that lets Jamba automatically accept quests.

    Blizzard poster re: addons:

    http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...geNo=1&sid=1#8

"Nobody is being banned. One of the first things GMs do after a new patch is recommend that people disable addons, because they often cause problems if not properly updated. With the exception of cross-faction communication addons and malicious addons, if it works, it's okay to run.

Remember that if there is a separate program running while WoW is running, that watches or interacts with the game, then that is against the ToS, but addons without any executables are fine."

I believe that auto follow after combat and follow strobing are not malicious.

However, you have participated in this debate previously and I suggest anyone else that is interested read Vyndree's posts because she raises some interesting questions.

Anyway, if you are not going to be comfortable, don't install Jamba-Follow (you can disable it from the addons screen).

Fizzler, I was having problems with follow strobing turning on in combat when it shouldn't have a few pages back. I'd suggest totally purging all Jamba files {the stuff in WTF, not just from the Addons folder, or at least all the stuff related to Follow} and reinstalling the newest release. It was almost like some sort of conflict was not overwriting the bad settings with the new ones, but as soon as I deleted everything and reinstalled, the problem vanished for good.

Good advise, I did delete the WTF files twice unless I am missing some. I even turned off all /jamba commands that executed on PiP window change and it still does it. When I first start up the game and go into combat no issues. As soon as I change to another toon and strobe follow from them and than turn it off. When I switch back to the Master and enter combat the follow loop starts...

All I can think of is a bad file somewhere. I did a Windows Search for Jamba and deleted everything that popped up when I did mine, so there might have been other file locations. Are you running out of one or multiple folders?

I just noticed that when I delete a rare item by throwing it on the floor, and which requires me to write "DELETE" opens the quest log on the slaves.

Seems like a bug. I hope the info helps.

Are you broadcasting L which is the default keybind to show the quest log?
