Jamba 0.5 available for testing (Update 12).

In .4 the Jamba quest box doesn't close if you close the quest window use the "X" in the corner of the quest window. It does close if you use "L". I just thought of an addon that adds a window to a normal window and closes everytime that main window does. Maybe you can steal how he does it so the Jamba quest window will always close also. It is Auction Filter Plus. FYI I use it to sort by full stacks and by bid or buyout price. (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...ansupdate.aspx)

Hehe, no need to steal someone's code. If you try Jamba 0.5, you will notice the Jamba-Quest window closes when you close WoW's quest log with the 'X" in the corner.

i am using 0.5 and so far other then having to figure out some spam issues for the master screen (had to have some settings different for master then slave to stop the spam) ... it is working fine for me ...

only option i have yet to figure out is how to get it to forward /tells that are sent to my slave char to my main ... not a real big issue since i use dual monitors but still.

The design of Jamba is have the settings exactly the same on all the toons. If you have to different settings for slave from the master, then I'd like to know what they are. What is the spam you are trying to get away from?

The forwarding of tells from slave to master is another module that I have not yet migrated from 0.4. It will be called Jamba-Talk. I've had several requests from the early days to integrate with WIM and I'm keen to integrate with SpamSentry and the like to help stop Jamba forwarding the level 1 spam.

I don't know if it's just me or not, I can't seem to get follow strobing to stay off when I turn it off. Basically, what I wanted to be able to do is follow strobe when I'm mounted and follow strobe only my melee slave in combat.

So what I had was a strobe command {onme/slave/all, Kina/slave/all, I tried everything} in my mount macro. For my melee slave, I had just the strobeon for the tag melee {setting that tag up first, of course}. I had a matching strobeoff command in my regular follow macro. I also created a seperate strobeoff macro that I put on my End key, which is my slaves spreadout key. Spamming the seperate strobeoff key sometimes got them to stop following, but usually, they'd break follow for a second or two and start following again.

No matter what I do, I can't get the strobing to stay off. I used all the different on and off commands, tried different tags, played around with the delay and still the same. If I use it in any way shape or form, it makes all of them follow all the time. I removed all the strobing commands for my slaves and just used the melee one and it still makes my other slaves start strobing. Not fun to run up on a boss and start combat only to see all my casters stop casting and start running toward me. Any ideas?

I'm assuming you are using JambaDev 0.5.

Ok, I've done some testing and I'm _very_ sorry for you pain. I've just fixed a bug in follow where commands without tags were being ignored. Please get Update 6 when it comes out.

When you mention having a mount macro, it makes me wonder if you are sending the commands to follow from each toon to all the other toons. I assume you need the mount macro on all your toons; but the jamba-follow commands with tags are meant to only be called from one toon.

From what you are describing; these are the commands you want. Please note that these commands do not have tags and are meant to be entered directly into a macro on each toon.

I also assume you have a main master that does not change - I'm going to call it Bob

All toons - mount macro

/mount a mount code here
/jamba-follow strobeon Bob

All toons - spread out key

/jamba-follow strobeoff

Melee toons only - separate key

/jamba-follow strobeon Bob

This will not work correctly without Update 6. Could you try these as they are; and if you do switch masters, we can work on a set of macros and keybindings that use the tags.

Update 6 Available.

New module: Item Use - provides an item bar (1 to 10 items) where you can drop an item in a slot on the bar on your master character and the item will appear in the bar on all your slave characters. To use an item in the bar, press the key for that item slot that you bound in the keybindings interface.

Follow - characters will no longer follow themselves.
Follow - commands now work without tags.
Display Team - when percentages display alone, they no longer have () around them.

In case you haven't work out how awesome this is....

When you get an item drop that starts a quest; after looting it on all your toons, just drag the item from your bag on the master to the Jamba item bar and then press the appropriate key. The slaves all pop up with the quest window without having to look in each of their bags for the item in order to use it,

OK that is just freakin awesome lol. Sorry I haven't got back much about the follow issue I couldn't ever reproduce it but seems like you found a bug with it in update 6 so maybe that was it will have to see.

I also use isboxer. I can setup so when I mouse click on an item in the new bar, all slaves will click on it as well. Your new feature fits very well with it.
