More categories or subcategories is an often debated topic among the mods, what specifically did you have in mind? (yes there are some changes coming specifically with the guild section that will happen shortly after the VB transition)
I think it would be worth a discussion on having subforums for the main software choices; Keyclone, ISBoxer, HKN (perhaps authors choice of course) and any others that warrant their own section. Having the info for new and old boxers in one spot for their particular software choice would be handy.

Perhaps having specific Software Boxing and Hardware Boxing sections.

Just some thoughts to consider.
