Indeed.Originally Posted by Simulacra',index.php?page=Thread&postID=198019#pos t198019]they both at their core do pretty much the same thing, jamba has more features like the targeting macros and better quest handling (abandon quest/choices) plus the push to slaves functionality is a nice feature, the buy feature is nice. Don't get me wrong, I really like jamba, I've used it. Multiboxer is just a less complex/featured alternative that does only what I need without the bells and whistles.
Multiboxer feature list is on our very own wiki: http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Category:Addon:MultiboxerV2

The first addon I used for Multi Boxing was MultiBoxer. Some time back, (could have been right before Lich King)a patch really broke it hardcore. I wasn't aware of Jamba at the time, and it appeared the MultiBoxer was not getting fixed anyime soon. Being a programmer for my day job, I decided to dig into the code and see if I could fix it. Ended up deciding it would be less work to make my own addon than to try and untangle it. Made MultiTool, and afterward, found out about Jamba.
I'm glad someone picked up maintining MultiBoxer... it was a fine addon when I was using it. You're exactly right too... Jamba is by far the most feature-complete multi-boxing assistant addon, but there are some decent options out there for those that want something much lighter weight.
