that is the wrong version of Vista. You need a 64-bit version so it will see all of your ram
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
MultiBoxers play with themselves
I just ordered a new computer that should be very capable of 5-boxing and it cost me less than $1800, including shipping & assembly.
New computer has been purchased - specs, rationale, and thanks
Highlights:
i7 920 proccessor
12 GB of RAM, supposedly upgradeable to 24GB
GTX260 video card, not the top of the line, but I'd say easily in the top 20%
SSD drive, could make the biggest difference for 5-boxing if the read times are virtually eliminated
I would highly suggest using www.buyxg.com. Their prices are comparable to ordering individual parts on www.newegg.com but they put it together and offer warranties.
Good luck! If you'd like to wait 3 weeks until I get my new computer then I'll give a more detailed review.

Be careful about any assumptions that 2 x video card = similar performance as one video card when boxing wow. Due to the way wow works; 1 video card is better. See the post linked below and the threads linked in that post.
[choice] Which videocard(s)?

This is a sweet HD for multiboxing http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820167013Originally Posted by 'billysharp1991',index.php?page=Thread&postID=1729 75#post172975
Go one video card, not two, two will not get you any perf increase and they will cause more heat and consume more power
GTX 285 or 295
Go with the EVGA model over the BFG model for the step-up program
Get a full tower case instead of a mid tower, you want plenty of room, make sure you buy a few extra case fans as well
Get a third party cooler for your CPU, I like Zalman
Get 12GB memory, if your gonna 5 box you will max out 6gb far to easy
Having read that post, and the post mentioned within the above: If you are running Vista with 3 Screens, and 2x 4870's; do you have to screen switch every time you start up WoW in order to use both video cards? Or is this fixed in vista? (It sounded like most of the posts were talking about XP, and people were saying "horizontal span is fixed in vista")Originally Posted by Jafula',index.php?page=Thread&postID=173083#post17 3083]Be careful about any assumptions that 2 x video card = similar performance as one video card when boxing wow. In other words: How would you go about outputting to 3 Displays. Main screen having your main client, your extra screens having your clones.

BFG has a 100 day set-up program, as opposed to EVGA's 90 day. (OH NOES!)Originally Posted by 'Nitro',index.php?page=Thread&postID=173633#post17 3633
