Thread: thankyou

    Default thankyou

Hi people! I wasnt sure where exactly to put this message, i just wanted to thank everyone on this site! It is a fantastic site, last night i didnt even know anything about multiboxing only that its normally about 5 chars following each other! After reading some of the guides on here i decided to try and set up my own dual-box i spent all of last night trying to set it up, getting confused with macros and trying to stop myself from pressing the wasd keys to move around! I have eventually now set up a dual team of priests (at first i didnt want them to be the same class but i decided since i am a complete beginner in boxing and even in making macros id start with what could be the easiest) and there is something incredably satisfying watching my 2 chars running about smiting little lowby things! So feeling this euphoria at watching my first ever dual-box team running around and it being all thanks to this website i had to come and let you all know!!

    So thanks again

If I understand correctly, you are broadcasting the wasd keys? You should turn them off, put them on a Do Not Pass list, depending on which cloning program you use. Will make your life a little easier.

Heh, I know exactly what you mean, I remember my first duo, and not figuring the WASD keys out - one toon would run one way, the other would run off in a completely different direction!

The first time I started dual-boxing. I just removed the wasd keybinds alltogether on my alt character. *whistles*

Anyhow, everyone here starts at the bottom. There's so much information to go around, you can't just walk into it and know it all. Just not possible. But you'll learn in time, just like the rest of us, which methods of boxing fits you best. ;D

I've been doing it for a while now, and I still consider myself a noob. But that's fine, the whole point of MBing is the journey, right?

Just think what you could do with 5 instead of 2.
