I've noticed that I play fewer hours when multiboxing, but I actually get more done.

I can run into instances without spending 30minutes to an hour looking for people. Being able to heal and rez yourself is a HUGE deal. If I lose one of the toons, it's not a catastrophe. Heck, it isn't a big deal to wipe either. Just run one guy back and have him rez everyone else.

My 5 shaman are now level 28 and I just did Stockades last nite. Was pretty cool to run around and blast everything. Yup, I died a bunch because my fire totems aggroed 6 guys, but i still had fun.

i can see that all of you doing multiboxing for the same reason as i do

i have only one problem with it the HC dungeons eg ramparts till i get to the second boss i am totaly red and have to go to repair shop ;-( i think i am doing something wrong hmm what i am saying is that running HC is not that easy as i thought it will be hmm

I started multiboxing not for the schedual, personally... Then again I live on disability so it's not as if I have a tight schedual to keep anyways. :P

The main reason I started multiboxing was because I knew it was more difficult than uniboxed play. Sure, it trivializes most of questing. But dungeons? So much more interesting now. I *always* used to tell myself that if only I could be the tank, healer AND dps all at once we wouldn't have wiped on this pull or that. With all the PVE content in my own hands, I have nobody to blame but myself, and that's comforting because I trust myself to improve.

PVP content, however, is why I love and play WoW. Irony that, since I'm on an RP server. Either way, the intense amount of challenge offered by multiboxing is the bread and butter of why I play.

Heh, my wife would MUCH rather I play WoW (or any computer game) then a console game. She's got a whole schedule of shows she watches. I have to wait until she goes to bed to play any console games :-(

I'm in the same boat I do one 10 man and one 25 man every week, outside of that I'm running my 5 box team just so I can progress on my own schedule. I log in every night and run instance X knowing when I'll start, when I'll be done. It's nice to clear partway, go eat dinner for 30 minutes, and come back to continue without impacting anyone else

completly agree. i love being able to just walk away when i want, hell you can even go to the store and get smokes / drinks and no problems. Boxing definatly saves the stress from LFG.

Absolutely man, multiboxing is SO much better for the family, my wife and kids whole heartedly agree. I made a lot of these points on TheBigBB's thread So, my guild flamed the hell out of me for leaving... which I won't bother retyping here.

Grats man and enjoy the adventure (on YOUR time table)

same reason as me more or less.

soloing in a manner of speaking, my own instances means i can do what i want how i want it.
without looking for lfg or dealing with pugs that gotta leave and dont know how to play there class.
having the option to take 5 or 20 min breake while inside a instance without having the feeling off,
oo there are guys waiting for me i should hurry back.

its a pleasent feeling to know that when i box i am my own master
