Please don't bump ancient threads. Looting is addressed in the Newbie's Stickies, specifically in the first thread under Interact with Target.
It uses the exact same method that you would use with Jamba in order to make your slaves interact with NPCs, which I walk through in the Jamba Guide, specifically in the middle of this post under Quest > Interacting.
