This changes your viewpoint imidiatly, and its a basic blizz API-Function, so no addon is involved.
This is mostly needed when trying to use taretted AOE spells with mouse-broadcasting, where the viewpoints need to be the same.
I'm not using any mouse broadcasting functionality at the moment. I just like the SetView(5) script to reset my camera when I switch to a slave toon (especially handy for melee classes). I use a Picture-in-a-Picture layout for my slave windows, turn off all the auto-functions of the camera, and spin one of the windows around to act as a rearview mirror when I'm running around questing. At least it gives me a little warning when I'm about to get ganked from behind, or the opportunity to do something about it if my toons are a competitive level.
