Default Ellay - Thanks for the Druid help

After our good Vent coaching session the other night, we incorporated a few of your suggestions and made up 70-85 points of rating, going 12-6 on the session. A couple nice 22 point victories in there as well. (Rating was up as much as 150, but we Vegas-ed it away on a few teams at the end of the session).

    Things that worked better:

    • Druid focusing on CCing a DPS class (or two) on 4xDPS comps. We had some good luck with a Pounce+Cyclone on two different targets while I tried to blow up someone fast.
    • Me healing us if needed, particulary just letting my partner stay in Bear form if he got focused by melee and alternating healing him and blowing up his attackers.
    • Putting Blood Fury back in the big boom macro on the alts. This wasn't as helpful as I might have thought, but it did shift my mindset to be even more offensive.
Also, some things that I utilized that weren't really what we talked about, but seemed to help:

    • On repeat fights against teams, totally mixing up my kill order/strategy. We killed a hunter first twice in a row, so on the third matchup, I hit him with one volley and then did a LB volley and NS+EM+CL big boom all at once on the neighboring mage, who had no chance to see he was hit and died before ice blocking.
    • Being more aggressive once 1-2 people were down and there were rezzers still left. We essentially would put on the blinders to the other easy-to-get classes and use feral charge/cyclone/roots on the remaining rezzers to make sure there were no accidents.
    • Not worrying so much about rez if we had bodies in hard-to-watch spots-- we let the other team get off a rez on someone who died down below the bridge in Nagrand in one fight. Instead of chasing them with low mana, we let them focus on the rez down below and drank on top of the bridge. Fight was essentially reset on our terms as a 5v3 and us at 100% health/mana. I think we were 95% going to win either way, but we're trying to eliminate those *smackhead* matches that happen from time to time where we blow an early lead by not pausing to "reset" to our advantages.
    Anyhow, thanks again.

On another note, the hunters are almost 69 and I should be ready for some painful early arena experiences for them in the next week...
    Cranky old-timer.
