Patch 4.01

Just a heads up that WoW 4.01 breaks quite a bit of Jamba functionality. I don't have two accounts to test on the PTR, I only have one beta account and I cannot spare the bandwidth to download the PTR, as I have already downloaded the beta and I have a limited amount of GB's a month.

I've done some testing on the beta already and made some fixes that went out in 0.7. I've not had the time to come back and do more. So if Jamba breaks when 4.01 is released, don't panic. I'll get on to it when I can test it on my five accounts on live. Hopefully we'll have all the bugs sorted within a week. I'm sure there will be plenty of other things to get used to and be doing at that time.

Again this is just a heads up, and hopefully those of you that read this can let others know when they ask.

We have months vbefore 4.0.1 right?

Jafula, is there a way to configure chat so that I get a Warning message when a character receives a message, rather then sending it to me?

I've been caught in a few recursive loops and had to exit rapidly incase I was spamming the guy with thousands of messages.

I don't mind switching to chars to respond to a whisper, its just getting a notice on the active character that I would like.

Word on the street is that we have approximately 2 weeks before 4.0.1 hits the servers, and that 4.0.3 (the expansion) should go live sometime at the beginning of December.

If you have already downloaded the beta client, you can use that to access the PTR. At least we're able to do that here in the states.

They made a post the other day, Beta client isn't PTR client. They said you have to use the that matches with you. Maybe it works, and they don't like it, not sure, just they made a blue post about it a couple of days ago.

Interesting - because I can log on both the beta and the PTR with the beta client. Maybe the reverse isn't true.

Here's another request jafula......any way to EDIT the quantity to purchase under the merchant section w/out having to delete and add the item to the list again?
