Jamba - Jafula's Awesome Multi Boxer Assistant. An addon for YOU.
Well now I feel like a fool. I never looked in Jamba-Me. Fixed that part. Thanks for the help, your foolish MB'er AlcattleOriginally Posted by 'Jafula',index.php?page=Thread&postID=211396#post2 11396

still not getting the slaves to join party. all are in Jamba-Group, invitor is set as master, everyone is on each other's friends list. Only way I can get them to join is to turn off Auto-accept. I am running 4.0e

Ditto - as they say, if in doubt, R.T.F.M., DOH!Originally Posted by 'alcattle',index.php?page=Thread&postID=211524#pos t211524
Yes, Jamba assumes that character names only have one capital letter at the front. Jamba automatically capitialises the first letter and lower cases the rest of the name. So the O in the middle of that character's name is causing Jamba problems. Sorry about that; it is something I need to work on.Originally Posted by Zapht',index.php?page=Thread&postID=212493#post212 493]Any idea why it isnt showing my last slave? I just wanted to point out an issue I've found with abandoning quests using Jamba.
I was running CT on my main and had it set to display quest levels next to the quest in the log. I tried to abandon a quest on my main and expected to see it repeated across all slaves, but instead they reported that they did not have the quest (even though they did). This puzzled me as Jamba used to work fine on my setup, but since I updated my addon's this functionality was now broken. After thinking about how Jamba was likely handling this request it hit me that it was probably pulling the quest levels injected by CT along with the quest name, and I was no longer running CT on my slaves. Jamba would then send the quest name to my slaves who of course would not have a quest named [71D] Quest...
So be careful if you’re running any mod that will affect quest names, you must also run the mod on your slaves too. (I don't think it’s reasonable to expect Jamba updated to compensate for this but a note on the site may help prevent confusion)

So the problem was with CT or whichever quest addon you used and not Jamba
edit: usefull info, I use one wow folder with keyclone, jamba and questhelper (a few other mods that don't affect the quest log) running 5 wow clones and haven't had any problems (accepting, selecting, abandoning via jamba) other than user created ones, i.e., only one person in the group should accept escort quests.
Well no, it's not a problem with the other mods, nor is it a problem with Jamba, it's just an issue that can arise if you have a setup similar to the one I described above. As a mod author I know that Jamba *could* be changed to tolerate this, however I personally don't think that is necessary. I posted this to be useful and constructive feedback for anyone who may find themselves in the same situation; I know of at least one person who has posted a similar problem that no one could figure out, maybe this was their issue too. Ultimately though this is an inability of Jamba to tolerate a specific class of mods and if you wish to use these mods on one client you will need to run them on all, that's all I was trying to say.Originally Posted by 'MarkHR',index.php?page=Thread&postID=212689#post2 12689
(Jafula: please don't take this rant the wrong way; personaly I don't know where I would be without Jamba and I certainly don't have the time to create a similer mod for my needs, your work is well appreciated *worship*)

You're using a completely different character than the one you should be for your toon's name in Jamba. You're toon's name is Gluttöny, in Jamba, you put GluttÖny. Two completely different codes. The code for Ö is Alt+0214 and the code for ö is Alt+0246. Go back into Jamba and change that character in your toon's name or delete that name and retype it using the lowercase ö and not the uppercase Ö. It's not the same as mixing up upper and lowercase o and O. It's like mixing up M and T instead. Change it and you'll see.Originally Posted by Zapht',index.php?page=Thread&postID=212493#post212 493]Any idea why it isnt showing my last slave?
