ames. The code is supposed to be able to handle all the special characters, but people have reported problems. I'm sorry you are having trouble with them. I'm writing a new version of Jamba, and I'll take extra care when working with those characters.

Awesome addon, keep up the great work.

Is it possible for you to add a "Dismounted" warning in 0.5?

In the same vein of "(Toon) is attacked!", I'd love to have a warning for "(Toon) is dismounted!" for all those times when I'm running my group through mobs. Would be wonderful not to have to keep checking their mount icon.

- Ello
This would be spammy if it sent a warning everytime you dismounted (i.e. when you wanted to dismount). There would need to be a way to distinguish when the dismounting was happening because of running through mobs. I'm guessing when the dismounts happens, the toon will also be in combat. How about the warning occuring if a dismount and in combat? This assumes I can use the WoW api to find out when a character has been dismounted (I'm sure there will be a way).
That would be great, as that is really the point. Slave toon gets dismounted by mob, warning occurs so I know to go back and save his bacon. You could even cut down the spam a little more by only making the warning apply to slave toons as there really is no point in a warning for the master since you're playing him.

There is an additional way to eliminate the spam, but I'm not sure it's possible. This would be to only give the warning if the Master is moving (not the slave as they may have been rooted). Normally, when I dismount while multi-boxing, the master is stationary. Not sure if there is a way to poll for movement as opposed to stationary though.

(it may be adressed somewhere in this thread, but i havent come across it yet.) I can't seem to get the spam follow funtion to work.
It is called follow strobing; and you can use the following command from your master toon to start it:

/jamba-follow strobeonme all

and to stop (from the master character)

/jamba-follow strobeoff all

Remember once command above has been issued and the strobing has stopped; you still need to press a movement key to stop your characters from following.

Here is a list of [url='http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=142561&highlight=slas h#post142561
current slash commands .

Also, zanthor wrote a great post on his setup (I believe he has moved on to something different since); but you should find it useful.
Wow. Thanks for that. The follow strobing alone makes this add on worthwhile! Save a little wear and tear on my poor old keyboard.

After trying the above macros, I've found what is about the only functional way Jamba will work for me, with following the leader, is to simply have /focus <desired toon> bound to f8-f12 (and set focus to master selected in switch). However, once the switch is made, the New Main toon keeps refocusing, restrobing on the previous master, very very very annoying, as it keeps snapping the main toon back to following the previous master. Even while the current toon is shown as the focus. It seems to take between 1 and 5 minutes before Jamba finally realizes that <current toon> is the main toon and it quits focusing, and forcint the following, of the previous master (just the current main toon does this, the rest of the group focuses correctly)...
Suggestions?
I have seen the problems you are having when switching master. I thought I caught most of them with the updates after the updated vehicle follow patch.

So, make sure you are using the latest version of Jamba.

From memory, I think that it may be possible for the master to get out of sync in high lag situations if you use the Focus method (which you are). I need to investigate this more.

Switch OFF the "set focus to master selected" in the switch menu and try the following macros for switching master:

On the toon that is going to be the master:
/jamba setmeasmaster all
/jamba-follow strobeonme all
/focus NewMasterToon

On all the other toons:
/focus NewMasterToon

Also, it seems like the messages Jamba sends between toons are taking a long time to get through. Are all your wow instances running at least 20fps? If not, the message rate is halved (which is bad). This is because of a third party library I am using.

Please let me know if you are having problems with those macros; they should work without issue.
Is there any way to find the FPS of my alt screens (while they're not the active large screen? I use 4 stacked on the right and my main is on the left.

I'm going to be switching my macros to the above tonight and will report on the "leader lag" situation.

BTW EVERYONE... I hope ya'll donate REGULARLY to Jafula/Jamba. The freaking author responds. If that's not worth a donation I don't know what is... this addon makes multiboxing possible for me when the straight macro method fails. Thought I'd plug that before I send another donation

When you focus onto another window, you will see the fps drop to whatever you set maxfpsbk to.

Edit: If you want to try and change the ChatThrottleLib that causes half output when FPS drops below 20; the instructions are here .

I hope that fixes your problem.

As for the donation; you can't right now; I don't have a paypal account as I am moving countries. You could try again in a months time if you still have the urge then. I should be setup by then.

Hi Jafula.. I have an issue while follow strobe is ON ..
my clones cannot drink or eat anything... even with the option for eat or drink turned on, they sit and then stand up..
I have to turn the autostrobe off before eating or drinking anything.
Any idea to get this solved ?

thx

Hello hello. Firstly I'm still using your addon and I still love you for it :P

Kinda wondering if I can make a request. At the moment you can forward whispers you receive to guild chat. Is at it all possible to forward whispers you send to guild chat? Its just that sometimes I have conversations with people and instead of having to copy paste my responses into guild chat it would be awesome if it did it automatically, that way my guildies could see the full conversation. if its not possible or you don't have the time (who does?) I'll still be your friend

This doesn't work for me... not sure why... all of my macros are
Slaves: /focus NewMaster Vyntica (example)
Master: /jamba setmeasmaster all /jamba-follow strobeonme all /focus NewMaster Vyntica

Using the latest versions of Keyclone and Jamba (installed on 3/3/09).

Jamba Setttings: Switch tab: Set Focus To Master When Changing Master Checked.

On Focus Change Set Master To Focus Checked.
