    Jamba-Me documentation ?

Hi, Is there a way that the Alts tell the main their progress in a profession, e.g. first aid or so, like the progress in a quest ?

    cheers
No, not currently, it's not something I had considered. Something for the future.

Excellent work on this AddOn. Thanks for it.

The follow monitor needs some work, assuming it is possible to make it work better. I believe, just as once when one established a new /follow and got spammed with ``Lost the target!'' messages each time, that the red lights flashing are the same thing.... lies, if one is simply sending another /follow while one's toons are already follwing.

I've been using a BigButton with /follow in it, until I revamp my macros and switch to strobing, and I've become very intimate with the follow monitor.... if people are toggling off strobing and seeing the lights dance for another 4 or 5 minutes that indicates quite a bit of backlog. From hitting /follow a several times in a row, it is looking like roughly 2 seconds for each monitor change of state. So I'm wondering if it is wise to use a one second strobe, let alone default to a one second strobe. Seems likes one is guaranteed to generate a backlog with a one second strobe. A two second strobe might possibly be able to stay even. Alternately, I'm wondering why the follow monitor is processing things so slowly.

Regarding the flight path error message of 'I cannot take the same flight as you. I do not know where to go.' -- can you check if toons are in differnent zones and not send the message in that case? If the team is mostly sitting in an instance, they don't need to know that the one in town repairing is using a flight path they don't know about

I'm just mentioning the things I saw, that hopefully can be made better to make the AddOn better. These are very tiny things in the vast expanse of goodness in Jamba.

    Cheers
Doing my best to get motivated for the WoW Headless Horseman mount hunt of 2013... so far failing. and now in 2018, let's see about those HH mounts! [Edit: Actually got an HH mount in 2018... on separate account 6. One to go! In 2019, my last BNet accout, the main one, got the HH mount. End of an era.]

If you are following, and then issue a follow command again, technically you have stopped following and started following again. Hence the brief red flash on the lights. The follow ended event, might be able to tell me that the reason follow stopped was that a new follow command was issued. If that was the case, I would not need to update the "lights".

If you are using Jamba's follow monitoring, I suggest you use /jamba-follow master or /jamba-follow target <name> rather than /follow <name>. This way Jamba can manage the following warnings better.

Follow strobing turns off the monitoring. If follow strobing, you do not get any follow update messages, therefore, there is no backlog. There was a bug in older versions of Jamba where this was not the case. Make sure you are using the latest version.

Sure, I can see if I can change that for you.

I was wondering if it is possible to "disable" Jamba from the UI? I know there is the "solo" button, but all the other things like setting loot to FFA, auto accept resses, denying invites, still works in solo mode.

When I play solo on my main tank, I'd prefer not to have those options on

Did I overlook a setting? Or do i have to relog and disable Jamba when I want to go really solo?

No additional settings are available. The solo mode was really just to stop the Player Not Found messages. To really stop Jamba, you will have to relog and disable it.

The next version of Jamba has profile support, so you'll be able to make a solo profile with those things that annoy you turned off.

    Hi

I just want to thank you very much for this great addon! Now Icecrown isn't such a pain with the damn follow breaking caused by the phasing. Also the message forwarding and many other features - I love it!

    Thanks again!

Default jamba slash commands in macros?

AGAIN. Thank you for the amazing addon.

Is it possible to include Jamba commands in macros? For example this is what I'd like to do on my Rogues:

    /jamba-follow master
    /startattack
    /castrandom Sinister Strike, Backstab

(I was using /follow party1 on the slaves but when iI switch leaders it causes a problem.)

I would also like to use the WoW modifier mechanic to save some button space. This is not vital. I'm just curious.

    Ex:
    /jamba-group [modifier:alt] disband; invite

I realize I'm being a bit lazy in asking but I'm at work and cannot startup WoW.

    Thanks a lot.

This will work. /jamba-follow master can be used in combat.

This will not work as Jamba parses the command and does not have logic to deal with modifiers.

    Glad you like Jamba
