My tiny problem is that the green / red box dosnt seem to update all that often. Ill get the message (which is fine) a lot sooner then the green/red box updating. And sometimes the health dosnt update for 40-60 seconds also. Is there a way to make the updating a bit faster without bogging the system down (probably Im the only one with this problem as I have 25 followers to update).

So is there a way to help those other people who lose follow by strobing it a lot faster (I have tried a number of settings but I notice that as I go lower and lower to strobe faster the red/green box is just turning red to many times even though the follow is not broken); and is there a way to update the red/green box faster?

And finally, I notice that you can set follow to reset after combat, but thats not the optimal time to reset, its after combat AND looting. Is it possible to add about 5 seconds to the after combat reset?

The flight accept is really cool with 25. The all launch at the same instant lol.

You have a bug. If you are follow strobing, Jamba should not be sending follow status updates (the boxes should always stay green). When the health doesn't update for 40-60 seconds it is because the wow addon communications channel is swamped with messages. The follow status updates while follow strobing would do this. There is no way to make the updates go any faster.

I fixed this bug a few versions back. Make sure you are using the latest Jamba version (0.4a or 0.4b) and the that version is running on all your toons. If you already are then ...

Do you do a lot of follow strobing? Because, auto follow after combat is redundant if you are follow strobing. What is your follow style?

It is possible to a delay on the auto follow after combat. I'll add that one to the list.

I don't want to let people have older versions because they all are old. Old versions have bugs that have been fixed in newer versions, have features that are incomplete, and I don't want to have to deal with those again.

Follow strobing spams "unknown unit" errors when using flight paths.
You can't follow while on the taxi, so there's no reason to strobe while on the taxi.

Can "pause while using taxi" be conveniently implemented?

Actually, the same thing happens when you're dead. Hard to follow when you're dead.

I've added the pause while using taxi to the todo list.

Feature Request: Jamba-Use

An onscreen UI that basically lets you drag an item to it quickly and easily, this needs to be small, could be a stand alone UI or at the bottom/top/etc of teh group UI. You get a quest item, you drop it there. You then have a hotkey which jamba keeps updated to use that item.

Ok, it is on the list, I'll add it to my "command centre" idea. I assume you want all your toons to use that item when you press the hotkey.

I know its something you have been considering, but some type of persistent way to see when certain abilities have proc'd or are available would be awesome.

I'm thinking specifically of an ability like the Mage's Hot Streak. Its a notice (in case you don't know mages) that an insta-cast big boom spell is ready. Its a spell that you otherwise wouldn't cast in a regular damage spam macro. So, something that would place an icon, say on or around the Jamba group window?, that a quick glance might tell me what abilities have proc'd and/or are available by toon would rock.

Continuing to love your addon. Couldn't multi box without it.

I was just gonna ask about a proc alert for hot streak, just like nightfall.

One more request from me. I am now dual-boxxing Death Knights and figure someway of tracking my slaves runes would be nice. Right now I have both of them the same spec, so for the most part I do the same rotations, but if I were to try something more complicated, being able to see the other death knights rune cooldowns would be a welcome feature.

All the proc / cooldown ideas are definitely on my todo list.

I'm still developing Jamba; at the moment I am rewriting the core and communications components. The existing code was beginning to get messy and a chat with Ken made me decided to refactor it.

At the end of this rewrite, there will be a documented Jamba API to enable other developers to write addons that can become part of Jamba suite, but still be addons in their own capacity, so their authors can take ownership of them and they can ship seperately.

For instance, I don't PVP and I believe Ken is writing a "Threat" module for PVP uses.

As part of that rewrite, I am changing the options GUI; especially to make the team and tag parts friendlier to use.

After that I am going to be working on Jamba-Macro (substitute tags in macros for actual characters).

And after that I'll make an effort at the proc / cooldown requests.

And then we will have the third expansion for wow :P .
