    Default Request of the elves

You have done some documentation for Jamba-Target (which I clicked the print button on, then had to Ctrl A Ctrl C and put into a Word doc to actually print.

You have some documentation of the main Jamba and it's modules in nested/tree form, so you can click on Jamba-Talk and go there.

Any likelihood of getting a printer friendly version of all of the docs? It's just a stitching together of what you have already done.

I keep a lot of printouts of guides and data in folders on the shelf above my comp, would love to have full hardcopy of the support info you have in nested form right now.

Default really new to MB and to macros

Love the addon and am using it with my current half a dozen macros. My question is do i ask here or start a new thread on getting help with macros and jamba. With 42 post and several updates to the addon i do not know where to start? I am MB to level toon in the new x-pac and might go from there at a later date. I have a warrior and a mage. I am struggling with the invite macro and what in the heck is strobing? Thanks guys.

Any chance jamba can do reporting to master say if a nightfall procs or a mages insta pyro procs or any equivalent casttime free proc's?

you can setup a simple cancel cast cast pyro for eg if it just reported it

I've looked around a bit, but wondered if there is a way to reference the leader specified in Jamba in a macro?

E.g. In BGs, I don't have control over who is party leader, so I can't assume the intended person is leader.

That documentation is out of date. With my refactoring, I'm changing a lot of stuff. So hopefully I'll have a full PDF of docs you can download and print at the end of it all.

Strobing is where Jamba will strobe the follow (master) command every second. This is ideal for PVP where you group can get feared. When the fear effect fades, follow is automatically called every second, so you don't have to worry about pushing your follow button again. You can find some macros for this in the Hydra stickied post in the new mb section.

    /jamba-group invite

should create a group containing your team.

If you ask questions here, I'll try and answer them when I can.

No there is not. I use Focus as a leader marker. An advantage is that Focus can change in combat where an addon macro cannot change in combat. I plan to add a "Jamba-Macro" system where you can replace tags with names of toons. I am also going to make a "master" and "slave" tag that change with the current Jamba Master.

So you could write a new Jamba Macro that was:

    /assist #master#

and then press the update Jamba-Macros button and assuming Yaswar is the master, this would change the macro to be

    /assist yaswar

    -or-

    /cast [target=#master#-target] Lightning Bolt

    would translate to

    /cast [target=yaswar-target] Lightning Bolt

This means you could have one set of macros and not have to rewrite them all the time when you changed team members. Also considering having #party1# - #party4# as tags that substitute the actual name of the party member.

If you want something that references the master in a macro and you don't plan on changing masters while in combat, then this system would work for you. Please note this system is a lot of talk at the moment and not much coding (vapourware).

Still, it's an intriguing idea if you get around to it and can pull it off.
