Perfect, i will be having a go at this in the afternoon.

However, I still haven't understood how to toggle following on slaves. I would like a "something" keypress that'll turn off strobing on the master so that all the slaves can go and position themselves accordingly.

I read that i should try the /jamba-follow strobeonme off - but that didn't help. How can i turn off/turn on/toggle following strobing on the slave(s).

    Minor cosmetic bug:

You seem to be showing experience in the range 1-100%, rather than 0-99%. i.e. when my toon has just gained a level he's shown at 1%, not 0%. When she's about to level, she's shown at 100%, not 99%. If you've not reached the next level, then you can't be 100% of the way there!

    ---

Also, I was experiencing some problems with follow (v0.3a), which may be the same as previously reported, but I thought I'd mention it just in case it's something new. NB: I've yet to try 0.3b, so this issue may not be around any more.
I switch leaders reasonably frequently, and I noticed yesterday that my toons would get in a funny state, where there was no clear consensus on who was the leader. The one that *should* be the leader (and was in fact showing the team status indicators, so Jamba thought he was the leader) would start following one of the other toons. Even if I switched master, the new master would be following someone else. A re-log fixed the problem but it ocurred again later.

I also noticed that the Jamba leader wasn't actually being auto-promoted to group leader any more, like it was in 0.2 - is that a change to be expected or perhaps an option I missed somewhere in the config?

I have a question that might sound strange to hardcore multiboxers, but worth a shot anyways

Both my wife and myself are eager multiboxers, she has 3 accounts with shamans and I have 4 accounts where I have a team of shamans and a team of mages setup. However, when we do instances, we like to combine where she run 3 shamans and I run 2. We used to use the Multiboxer addon until 3.02 but now changed to Jamba and love the setup, seems very streamlined and it solved some issues for me. However, we have not yet tried to "duo" in an instance yet, so I wanted to ask what kinda problems we would get with 2 x Jamba users in one team, and how do we go about solving them, anyone have any experience with it?

The first thing I'd see is that we both have Follow on master in our seperate teams, that wont work too well here since I assume just one of us can be master of a team? Is there a way to "isolate" those two Jamba installations within the team and just dont make master the team leader?

There are more things that will appear when we try it, but just wanted to get a head start and ask here if anyone have any experience with it, or if you all box solo.

    Thanks.
Don't have her characters in your Jamba and vice verse and you should be OK. Absolute worst case you may need to change teh tags from "all" to "allmine" and "allhers".

The more I think about it, the ability to force her alts to follow you could be useful, and vice verse.

/jamba-follow strobeonme <tag> - This will cause all players with <tag> to follow you and re-follow once every N seconds as set in the config.

    /jamba-follow strobeoff <tag>
    - This will cause all players with <tag> to STOP issuing the follow strobe. They will NOT stop following, they just won't issue /follow every N seconds until y ou turn the strobe back on.

    You can also use

    /jamba-follow target <target> <tag>

as well to follow a particular target (the target does NOT have to be set up in Jamba)

    Example:

    /jamba-follow target NameOfToonToFollow all

If there is anything I can do to help you in this situation Mithryx, please don't hesitate to ask.

So you're saying that as long as I add just "charA" and "charB" in my master, and the same on my slave, I can then Push to Characters without her Jamba clients getting any of it? Currently I have just "all" defined (default), so if I change that to "AllMine" on both my shamans, and then use /jamba-follow master allMine it wont effect her either.

It does make alot of sense, thanks alot I will be trying this when we get back home.

Edit: a post got in between, have to read more and edit if needed

This issue (leader switching seems random) is fixed in 0.3b. The auto-promote leader is working for me. The option to set this is in Jamba-Group and it's called "Auto Promote Master To Leader". If you are still having trouble with it, please post back here and I'll look a little deeper for you.

Make sure your tags are all lowercase... and please let me know if that works for you...

Your dedication to Jamba is truly appreciated, Jafula. I can't multibox without it anymore, hell, I won't even singlebox without it. Thanks for .3b!

Really loving this addon, thank you so much for making it Jafula!

One thing I noticed when I started playing with it last night though, was that if I have all my alts following the main, and then change main, the previous alts are still following the old main, and thats fine.
But, if i then hit my follow key, making the alts follow the new main, the character that is the new main is still following the old main until I start moving.
Now, the only issue I have with this, is that when I start moving on the new main, that character calls out the follow broken warning.

Could you make it so that a character won't call out breaking follow if they are currently the main?
Or at least a toggleable option.
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.
