Now for the next logical question... due to the changes to group order, is there a way to change Jamba for slaves to always accept invites in a particular order?
Well, my guess is that since it was never really an issue before (as the order was predetermined by some strange hudu as I recall), I'm betting that they're just iterated trough in whatever order the team members are in the table.

It seems logical that some kind of sort order / weight / organization could be added and a small config page for managing it would be in the realm of the do-able.
I have already added this functionality into 0.5; you can see the up/down buttons in the screenshot below.

Awesome! Can't wait for 0.5

I've been digging through the site, but have yet to find anything that looks like it answers a question I have about jamba-purchase: I just can't seem to get it to work, and I wonder if anyone is actively using it? I want to be able to auto-buy ammo for my team of 5 hunters. On the master, I checked everyone's tag for "all" and pushed that out to the other four. Then I dragged a stack of arrows over to the jamba-purchase screen and it appeared to correctly load into the item name box. I've then tried a few different quantities: 1 (for 1 "stack"), 200 (since the arrows come in stacks of 200), and various numbers in between. After I add the item (using the "all" tag), I then push the change to the other four characters. However, nothing happens when I right-click to start a buying session with an NPC who sells the arrows. I've tried it on all five characters after pushing the changes, and I've tried it just on the master without pushing the changes. Neither way results in anything happening.

Is there someone out there using jamba-purchase who can clue me into what I'm doing wrong? Or is this functionality just not completely working yet?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I really like Jamba it's great.
Maybe a nice feature would be to add a functionality like profiles, like Titanpanel etc use.
I'm one of those ppl that uses many different teams, and loading a profile from an already setup character would be handy.
Another nice feature would be a Team option:
    Define Team A - Char1, Char2, Char3, Char4, Char5
    Define Team B - Char6, Char7, Char8, Char9, Char10
    ...
    Define Team F - Char1, Char7, Char13, Char20, Char5
I hope you get the idea.
This way mixing would be really easy.
Would be nice if it's an option you could implement.

I don't have it in front of me but, I think you set the number to the amount you want to maintain. I have my Shaman set to keep 10 Ankhs and my Pally set to keep 100 Symbol of Kings as an example. For your arrows, since they now stack in lots of 1000 keeping that number at say 5000, 5 full stacks, would make your dudes purchase arrows every time you were at a vendor that sold arrows and and they had less then 5000.

Oh man, that makes so much more sense, and totally explains why none of my team would make the purchase since they all had at least 400 arrows each already in inventory! Grr, I wish I wasn't at work so I could try this out. Thanks very much for your help, I'm going to set this up right as soon as I get home tonight.

Profiles are coming in 0.5. You can use the profiles to implement your team idea and mixing characters should be easy enough.

Hi, another suggestion. From time to time I disable all addons so I can log into alts more quickly. When I re-enable add-ons, Jamba, and few other add-ons have windows reset to the center of the screen. This happens for the 'Jamba Team' window. Other add-ons preserve their window postions, and that is what I'd like Jamba to do.

I'd also like to know how it is done, so I can tell the other addon authors (SmartBuff's, for one) how to fix their code without haveing to tell this story over and over

    Thanks!
I'll see what I can do - it's not a high priority for me; but its on my bug tracking list.

Did you remove the donate button from your website? Or have you never had one? If it's the former you should put it back and if it's the latter you should add one :).

I come read this thread every so often but haven't read every page (lots of them!). This may have been discussed before and I just missed it. I am getting in the mode to start 10 boxing. I currently use the FTL system which makes it a bit cumbersome to drop toons into groups and such. Would it be possible that an addon could detect the current toon in the active window, make it the main and tell all the other toons to focus on it? I'm actually wondering if there is an easier way to get a redundant team setup without having to do a lot of hotstrings with keyclone and having to restructure all your macros when you change a member of your group/raid. If each toon in the group/raid could know who you are currently controlling a simple /assist focus would be all you would need instead of complex fancy smancy macros. I suppose there is one problem where the main would try to /assist focus as well because the macros is telling it to and there is not a nomod situation.

I would love to be able to just drop and add toons on the fly but not sure if there is a feasible way to do it. I posted this question in the jamba section because well, i figured this is where it should be. *wink*

If you are using focus based macros you can do this with Jamba, but not automatically. There is a Jamba slash command to make yourself master, I think it is /jamaba makememaster . There is also a /jamba setmaster <name>. Then you can set the option "when master changes set focus to master".

Depending on the rest of your setup you could tie in the same hotkey you use to switch to a different toon to change the new master and change your focus. Or you could switch over manually and hit a macro to do it.

I am not at home so I don't have it in front of me so I might not have the names exactly right, though the slash commands might be in this thread somewhere. Once you see that and play with it a bit I think you will be able to do what you want.

    EDIT:
List of slash commands [Addon] Jamba - An assistant for multiboxers. 13th Update - 0.4e released.
I was close with the names - these are from the above link.

    /jamba setmeasmaster <tag>
    /jamba setmaster <target> <tag>

Forgot about these, you could also put these to use

    /jamba setfocusmaster <tag>

    /jamba setfocus <target> <tag>
