Jafula i got a question, or maybee a request for next update/version.

Is it possible to get something like this

like /jamba-follow master all

but instead something like this

/jamba-cast assist party1 "spell" "tag"

if thats possible i only had to make "macros" on my main

Thanks otherwhise for a wonderful addon , btw is it ok because of ToS/EULA

Hey; addons are not allowed to cast spells for you (Blizzard says so); so I would not be able to do this for you. I am planning (eventually) a method to make macros on one character and push those macros to other characters.

Is it possible for you to add a "Dismounted" warning in 0.5?

In the same vein of "(Toon) is attacked!", I'd love to have a warning for "(Toon) is dismounted!" for all those times when I'm running my group through mobs. Would be wonderful not to have to keep checking their mount icon.

Hey Jafula - I've seen several threads about Jamba-0.5 coming along nicely -- the dreaded question -- any thoughts on when it might enter a beta state? I'd be happy to do some testing :-P

Wow. this a super long thread. (on page 4 of 50-some) I would like to say that i love this addon, but i am having one problem. (it may be adressed somewhere in this thread, but i havent come across it yet.) I can't seem to get the spam follow funtion to work. i have to manually tell the toon to follow (using /jamba-follow command) and it doesn't go back to following if follow is broken for whatever reason (use of arrow keys, jumping in water, right click movement in the slave screen, etc.) it auto follows after combat like it is supposed to, tho.



All in all, great add on! I still need to fiddle with settings to get it all going, but it is awesome! keep it up!

This would be spammy if it sent a warning everytime you dismounted (i.e. when you wanted to dismount). There would need to be a way to distinguish when the dismounting was happening because of running through mobs. I'm guessing when the dismounts happens, the toon will also be in combat. How about the warning occuring if a dismount and in combat? This assumes I can use the WoW api to find out when a character has been dismounted (I'm sure there will be a way).

/jamba-follow strobeonme all

and to stop (from the master character)

/jamba-follow strobeoff all

Remember once command above has been issued and the strobing has stopped; you still need to press a movement key to stop your characters from following.

I only have my netbook with me and it JUST runs one WoW (badly), I doubt it will run two instances.

Having said that, if I can find a WiFi spot and convince my better half to settle in for half an hour; I can update some code (or reply to messages on this forum). I would like to get 0.5 out as it has been dragging on for a while and all this renewed interest in it (thanks to Ellay's post) has fired me up :-).

All going well you might see something mid-May, but I'm not promising anything.

Just a little question about Jamba internals Jafula, is it possible to get the follow status for all characters in the group list? I'm trying to make a Pitbull addon that can display follow status in the pitbull unitframes, but I can't seem to request the follow status.

You will be able to do that in Jamba 0.5; Jamba will have its own "api" and you will be able to subscribe to messages Jamba sends (like follow status). Unfortunately there is no easy way to get the follow status currently.
