Ya know I was just gonna stop looking in here, due to a previous post, but realized that one person does not make a group.

I will simply rephrase my questions.

I am not LOOKING FOR HELP TO GET STARTED, just some advice on which direction to go.

meaning, with the vast amount of experience in here, do you folks find running from one machine to be the way to go, or from multiple machines.
I have access to 4,but i believe my comp. can handle running 3 instances at one time. And from what I have read this seems the way to go.

Macros I can find. Setup, may be a bit of a task for someone of my age, but I believe I can over come that also.

MB looks like a lot of fun, I am just wondering which way to go first.

    Thanks guys for the input

You are not looking for help to get started, but you haven't set yourself up yet or multiboxed yet? Then you imply that someone telling you to go to the newbie forum is a bad apple on the forum? If you can't even take the smallest amount of TOTALLY APPROPRIATE criticism, you're not worth helping, sorry.

Multiboxing multiple melee classes is a very big challenge, and I don't mean "hey lets go climb that mountain" type of challenge, more like the kind you have when your septic tank eats your cat and then explodes.

Then sit back, relax and enjoy the blessed silence from us nasty, mean old farts.

On a more serious note, I do wish you the best in finding what you're after and hope you'll find it in spite of anything anyone else tells you on an interwebz forum. /cheers

    3 rogues + different specs = trouble

considering how positional some specs of the rogue class are, you will have a really hard time getting one rogue in position to garrote/backstab while the others are whacking away.

can X spec computer hand Y instances of WoW? - how long is a piece of string? - trial accounts are free, just set it up and see if you get decent frame rates! seriously! you don't have to spend days doing macros to see if your machine can handle the FPS you need/want. just log in, create a few toons of the same race, and see what happens when you zone in. you don't even need to move around, but you can if you like. If you REALLY want to test it, run the group to a major city like Stormwind. For this, keyclone/octopus isn't even necesary - just use "/follow LEADTOONNAME" and let them follow you to the city.

They are, actually I have 4 in my name. Thanks for the reply. I posted in here, because of the fact that most of the folks seem very helpful and truly sincere. Time will tell.
    I told you.

Just to reinforce what's already been said here, because it's important for others to learn from...

The problem isn't "one bad apple". The problem is that you broke every possible rule of etiquette.

    - A totally meaningless topic subject, which compells people to read your post even if they don't want to address your questions.

    - Posted in the wrong forum. You know you're new, so you clearly should have posted in the newcomer's forum.

    - Despite your protests to the contrary, demanding a personalised guide to multiboxing even in the presence of a veritable treasure-trove of information here.

    - Not having the good grace to accept appropriate criticism from long-standing members with a history of helping others.

I wish you luck in your multiboxing adventures, and genuinely hope you get yourself up and running (yes, Keyclone will get you going the quickest of the available tools) so don't hesitate to come back with specific questions in the future.

But before you do, be sure to use all of the existing resources:
