Keyclone is a p2p, unicasting keyboard emulator. Keyclone links applications together...enabling you to hit 'F1' within one application, and having that key simultaneously sent to each of the other applications keyclone is managing. it will also send those same keys to any other keyclones you may have linked in, which in turn will distribute the keys to the applications they are managing.[1]

  • Website
  • Suggestion: You can add keys like the return key and '/' to a blacklist so they don't get replicated. This way you can say things without spamming with all characters at the same time. You can also add the escape key and/or your movement keys to that same list.

PiP - Picture in Picture

PiP - Picture in Picture - This was created to help the user swap around their maximized clone windows.

keyclone_v1.8e_pip_0.jpg

Note that region0 is selected. I have also set the PiP hotkey for this region to LCTRL+F1.

The hotkey for region1 is LCTRL+F2 The hotkey for region2 is LCTRL+F3 and the hotkey for region3 is LCTRL+F4

here's the starting position. DrJack (yes.. they are noobie test charaters) is in region0 then i hit LCTRL+F2

keyclone_v1.8e_pip_1.jpg

bam.. region1 has swapped with region0. then i hit LCTRL+F4

keyclone_v1.8e_pip_2.jpg

bam... ain't she pretty! region3 swapped into region1 notice that DrJack is in region3 now.

and with BOOBS, PiP will insure that whenever you hit LCTRL+F2.. you always get the same character swapped into the clone you are sitting on.

enjoy!

Keymapping / Hotstrings

Here not a tutorial on hotstrings/keymaping, but some quick examples, how they are used and defined (mostly in an ftl-setup, but the general concept should get clear)
