I know. I found that out this week myself.

I've gotten into the habit of mashing my /follow key anyway, though. Because I'm leveling up some lowbie pets I'm often entering melee near the end of the mob's health, so that breaks follow anyway.

By the way -- Aimed shot breaks follow too.

    Default possible macro?

    possible macro??

    /assist Vyndree
    /cast steady shot/aimed/sting
    /follow Vyndree

...seems plausible, it is 3 presses of 1 button button, but i do a similar thing with my 1:1 steady shot macro for my hunter anyway

    ...a bit of theorycraft.

I'm waiting to get Aimed Shot until after I get Go For the Throat 2/2. My current spec is here: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-t...ver&n=Zoljuzol

I've been doing a mix of chain clearing Blood Furnace and questing, which I stay away from at peak playtimes. I've had a week off from work and have really been putting some time into the team, so no rested... Circle of Healing is flat out awesome, I have to say. My priest is just fire control for targeting and the boars just tank a mob each-- I use frost traps only as backup CC or situationally.

I've been really happy with my cast sequence macro for Steady and Concussive Shot. Since SS does more damage when target is dazed, I have my four guys do the following:

1: CS + 3xSS Steady shots land after instant-cast Concussive shot lands
    2: 4xSS
3: Second CS + 3xSS (usually about the time the first daze wears off)
    4: 4xSS
repeat for 8 total spells (makes fitting them into the 255 char macro limit a challenge)

Really happy with how that works out for now! When I'm questing, I will sick pets on a target, fire 4xSerpent Sting, then switch to a different target and use CS/SS macro to burn down a second target while the pets maul the first. I run Aspect of the Pack to minimize time between mobs...

*Only* complaint with my team is that the priest is WAY squishy and is the inevitable first target of anyone who's going to gank me. I've had my butt handed to me by a couple of L70 rogues who always nail the priest first. The pets/hunters can finish them off OK sometimes, but it's still a corpse run. I miss everyone on the team being able to rez AND wipe-prevent.

The thing is, I don't ALWAYS want to re-follow. Sometimes I like having a firing squad set up in a location and have my priest "disconnected" and free to move about. (Think instances)

I got aimed shot first because I tamed 4 level 19 ghost sabers and had to level them up, so I'm playing a BM spec with pets that won't hold aggro (yet) >.<

And indeedy, putting a follow at the end of the macro means that if you ever want to "spread out" to avoid aoe or somesuch, you're screwed. :P

    It's always broken follow =)

The good part about it breaking follow is that in PVP, people try to get behind you lots, and with SteadyShot tracking, your chars turn to face the target. If you autofollow in your macro, eventually only your main will be facing the target, as the others keep trying to follow the main. But ya, in every other instance, its kinda annoying.

Ah, so that's why my macro was causing that...I was wondering why my Hunter wouldn't follow after combat. I just run by and hit my follow macro again, though it does get pretty annoying when I forget about him.
I wonder if you could use that for just normal stopping, have the hunter(s) target the nearest enemy, begin casting Steady Shot, and instantly stop? Letting you position them as you're running? Though that would be pretty dependent on your surroundings and very situational I guess...

It doesn't ALWAYS break follow, just if the "track target while cast bar goes for one second" process takes you off of perfectly lined up with your follow target. Most of the time, this is the case, but I've actually lost 1-2 hunters and had 1-2 stay on me after a long boss fight where everyone SS multiple times.

I am really worried about PvP and people infiltrating the ranks, but I guess that's what traps are for...
