Reading all day long and... stupid fail

Well, first of all hi

My problem is i start one wow client, then another (just wanna try it, so no need for more), start Autohotkey script (just copied it from the site, tried 2 already) and well, nothing happens... every character moves their own way, and only then i acctually move them.so...i feel really stupid now, but feels i've already read most of this forum (esp for beginers parts) and no use yet... save me please

Sounds a lot to me like you don't have your AHK setup right. I'd suggest checking out Keyclone, $20 i swell spent if you are serious about multiboxing.

hm.. maybe i really missing something, but.. i understand that if i wanna use some spell i set it to 1 do the same on other account and then push 1, but i only tried moving, which is orriginally bounded to the same keys, so am i doing something wrong? and ty for helping me, keep doing this, i wont be able to go to sleep if i wont get this thing working

Edit: zanthor i just want to try it out first , like i try dress before i buy it, so for now Keyclone isn't an option i like

You need to either not pass movement keys to your follow along guys or remove the binding to the key in WoW. When you press up, you're pressing up and they all follow what the key does. If you remove it from some of them then when you press up, only the one with that key binding will do it. Keyclone let's you block key strokes directly instead of passing them, I'm not sure about the other ones.

hm... got tired of trying and got keyclone, so just one question for now ( and many many of them later if you dont mind : D ) i'm used tu mouse turning and now i'm always leaving my clone behind accidentally... is there any way to make them follow me controled with mouse or i just have to get used to keyboard turning?

That default AHK script you were using doesn't pass the movement keys at all, just 1-10 and - (as well as alt, ctrl and shift of those numbers)

to use it properly you set a

/assist player1

macro to your "=" key and a

/follow player1

macro to your "-" key

Elsewhere in the wiki you'll see that it suggests passing the movement keys only to your followers, so you can move them as a group independant of your leader (this is really important for avoiding the followers not casting because something isn't in front of them)

you can use the mouse to drive no problem... just make sure your alts are on /follow

if you are asking about the situation where the target moves around to your left and you need to turn... then you will need to use the keyboard to turn all characters at once
