Dragonriding whelp BS doesn't address how shitty the default /follow is when you're NOT flying (which is most of the time), or how incessantly you have to RE-follow, especially during combat; Ion has a hardon for overwhelming AOE, even for casual content. I can't just park an alt and let them cast, or they can take a ton of damage (and possibly die). Follow does nothing but break and break and break. Pick up a quest? Broken. Turn in a quest? Broken. Cast a spell? Broken. Knockback (cuz they love that, too!)...broken! Hell, I had characters frequently dying left and right WITH strobe follow.
I am pretty sure that default /follow has been nerfed in recent years, since I only started using strobe follow addons the past few expansions. If manual multiboxing without the strobe follow addons had been THIS godawful, I never would have multiboxed in the first place.
Multiboxing the casual, open world content I did allowed my fucked up hands/wrists to take things easier. It's a lot easier to dirty click on one hand, and spam buttons with two fingers on the other (two tiny macropads, as I use one PC per WoW account) to poorly play three characters, than to properly play a single character. I can't even imagine how frustrating this must be for blind players.
Luckily, I was able to cancel my two other Dragonflight purchases, and the timing of the expiration of my two other accounts was pretty perfect. But it pisses me off that I can't justify the extra subs, when many of these characters have been played since Burning Crusade. And the pain this causes my hands makes me think I may just have to quit, when I'd already quit most of what I loved due to my disability (dungeons, raids and other, more challenging content).
