Default any suggestion for new game

seems like no more multi boxing in wow now . time to see about a refund and shadowland pre-order. any suggestion on games to try and multi box. Thinking of trying rift again or maybe even EQ 1 or 2. even think i have an AO account so might try that. anyone else going to give another game a try.

WoW has been trash for a very long time. Sorry, I do not think there are any solid multiboxing experiences to be had at this time.

    I would recommend:

Fallout 4 w/ various mods like Horizon
    Subnautica
    DOOM
    Terraria
    Divinity OS:2

Cyberpunk might be good as well. Baldur's Gate 3 should be good when it's done. Subnautica follow up is in early release as well.

Fret not my PC gaming friends. WoW is officially dead (given this news) but gaming lives on.

Nah, WoW was just too easy to multibox compared to what else is out there. No other game before, now, or after even remotely piques my interest to attempt to multibox. I did do Rift for a bit way back when it first came out, but that got old real fast.
My only saving grace is that in Classic (the only reason I still play WoW) is that my main character was never a part of my multiboxing teams. He was 100% solo played to 60, and I only brought him into my "teams" for certain boss drops during phase 1 when farming things like Banthok Sash. Other than that, my main was played like any other solo player. My teams were just for farming instances for gold to supplement my main with raiding consumes. Now I just need to farm like the rest of the peasants LOL.
Honestly at this point in the game, I was paying for 5 accounts just to port and summon my main around. Which technically I can still do with alt/tabbing or even loading multiple clients with isboxer and leaving broadcast off. But no sense continuing isboxer sub for that, once that runs out I'll be looking at simpler software just for loading multiple instances on my screen with no broadcast.

I haven't multiboxed in years but I continue to use isboxer to handle all my in game proc based rotations and hotkeys. The way I read the announcement is that they are going after the software via detection, regardless if you actually are multiboxing. This is disappointing news as I am not going to go back to the days of mouse clicking and trying to keyboard dance around an overly complicated rotation full of whack a mole procs with the same hand that is needed to keep my toons ass out of the fire on trash mobs with more mechanics than half the bosses in the game.

At least EQ has a server set aside for multiboxing. WoW should have done the same.

I wrote a small book about this in one of the other threads: https://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/...ving-WoW/page2

TLDR: Rift and SWTOR are quite attractive options if you've never played them before, but they're unlikely to sustain your interest indefinitely. Neverwinter is potentially a lot of fun, but they recently broke an important part of the multi-boxing apparatus. FFXIV is a great game, but not an attractive game for boxing. Multi-boxing GW2 and DDO is a totally different experience to WoW, and might be interesting to people looking for a real challenge.

    Agree about WoW
As for Cyberpunk. It is at last playable after several serious patches were released.

Hey, are you waiting for WotLK Classic? Blizzard hasn't confirmed a specific release date yet, though it is expected to arrive sometime in 2022. The beta is expected in July or August.

I am likely try to 5box WotLK Classic. Will likely do mouse over boxing or possibly a 5 keystick setup.

WOTLK 1 DK + 4 Retribution was a lot of fun in dungeons. Great Damage + Offheal ....

With broadcasting banned you can only multibox effectively in WOTLK if you use a non-legal way of multiboxing.
And of course this is against the WOW TOS/EULA
