How are you guys handling corruption gear defects?

if you get the right corruption effects the dps boost is insane and is way out of control. I've been aiming to have less than 20 corruption overall so I don't get hit with the eye, but the snare is not that big of an issue.

yah 20 seems ideal. I dont think you can even see the eye on your alts either. But the dps boost is insane. It's almost always top dps ability per fight. And the corruption ability that gets better when other people in the party have the same ability could be great for boxers. The eye though, it's bad, but it's not unplayable. I feel that swamp thing guy is far too much damage though, he hurts.

Yup it's all about getting the optimal corruption effect and sit back and watch the damage skyrocket.

Thinking on this further I may try to push for 39 if you have a team that is really strong with passive heals (this is if you need more DPS, but won't work on some difficulty settings). The characters can sometimes sit in the eye but it needs further testing.

I've been really really lucky and my 400ilvl prot paladins each have 1 to 2 pieces of echoing void and/or twilight devastation. I haven't done the cloak quest on them yet so i didnt dare test them today, but i'm thinking that with the insane dps these procs do that i could go full defensive prot pally and just let these items melt everything.

Also, if anyone is having trouble getting corruption pieces, i keep getting drops from world quests 420 ilvl and Normal dungeons.
