Mage specs

I am lvl 44 now with my MMMMP Team and I skilled in the arcane tree till arcane concentration & improved AE (I am using AE 90% of the time). I am not sure what is finally the ultimate best way to spend my other points. But i decided for going deeper in fire, at least while leveling.

Blast wave is nice additional to my AE and my fire spells (fireball, fire blast, pyro as initial) are pretty strong against bosses. Maybe when the trashmobs are getting more life, dealing more dmg and so on, i might swap into a deeper arcane spec or test out frost.

But this situation still not happend right now. Things running very smooth (and simple).

Did anyone clear BRD with 4 mages? Emperor Thaurissan seem to be really hard since he enrages and becomes spell immune

I’d like to know this too, but if ironfoe drops it wouldn’t even matter lol. No rogue or warrior to take it.

I have one of each spec, arcane, fire, and frost. I have to say the fire mage is the most impressive. The stun from the 1st row fire talent is very useful and seems to proc on Flamestrike alot. I don't like Pyroblast however, because I can't find a use for it. Stuff usually dies before I can get one off, and it was too complicated to add that and Frostbolt into the the same cast sequence macro.

What I do is Priest Shield and Renew my Pally, run around collecting mobs, hitting each mob to gain threat. Once I start taking too much damage I have my team run in and the Priest spam heals me, while the Mages cast Flamestrike into repeating Arcane Explosion's. Things die before they have a chance to react, and like I said some of them even get stunned from the Flamestrike. I can only imagine how it would be with all 3 of my Mages as fire.
