Grouping a 5 man team with different races

What's your general plan for grouping multi-race toons? Trying to get them grouped before levelling in the same starting zone, or levelling them to level 10? In my case, I'm rolling Tauren Druid, Orc Warlock/Hunter, Troll Priest/Mage (essentially levelling to 10 3 times).

I plan & recommend to start with all the characters of the farthest away race and run them to the race whose starting zone I want to start in (and grab any races along the way) and then go out together as a group all at essentially the same level.

In my case, since I am Alliance, I plan to start with any Night Elfs and take shortcuts to the IronForge area and then grab any Dwarves &/or Gnomes, and then take the tram to StormWind getting the entire group together at the human starting area with no character higher than level 2 and head out together (and take the FedEx approach to level up the team).

I was just reading that thread. I like the very detailed plans, though, it's geared for Alliance. I guess some trial and error is in my future. Thanks for the reply!
