Funny, other than my end of WoD triumphs in mythic dungeons I've never really enjoyed 5 boxing. It dawned on me today that I love the idea of it but the practice of it just doesn't hold up. 5 boxing high end content like mythic+ is too much work for the reward. Dual boxing is very comfy and manageable. No stress issues. Only slight stress when doing mythic dungeons or raiding.
In hindsight the two most fun periods of multiboxing for me were in WoTLK dual boxing my SHM and WAR then again in MoP dual boxing DK and SHM. I did 5 boxing on and off over the years, never really getting far. So now I'm just focusing on getting all my appearances on my two mains. That includes the PvP ones.
3 isn't even interesting to me anymore. Something about positioning just kills it for me. So much movement is required. Two ranged + one melee is hell. Two melee + 1 ranged is hell. 1 melee 1 range is really easy by comparison. I don't think it's age. The game has just gotten far more complicated in the positioning department.
so the two main reasons for me quitting the game are getting reverted
now we have to hope for proper pvp balance that is highly unfair in favor of multiboxers as tbc/wotlk/mop, because I finally got to a place where internet upload is high enough for streaming
and it's about time making another I have no friends cleave movie

Multiboxing since WoW:BC - MY YOUTUBE!
I completely understand and feel the same way. I no longer mix melee/range classes myself as it just gets to complicated or more complicated than I want. I want to spend my night playing and not fixing macros or keybindings. Positioning is just a huge headache.
In fact I stopped playing any combos that involve healers unless I am playing all healers like in a bg. I only play hunters and druids(moonkin/resto) and in bgs I usually only box two. Two resto druids can frustrate the hell out of opposing players in bgs and can be a factor in winning. I like being able to do 3s rated and skirmish myself and 3 hunters camo/wind/true/piercing can one shot clothies/healers. To me that is what I enjoy. In bfa scenarios are 3-players, so 3 boxing is my sweet spot, but all the same class/spec. If I want pve gear I will just buy it from guild carries on which ever server is selling runs. Simple
I tried to take all stress out of the game along time ago and keep everything simple stupid for myself.
I for one would love to see more "no friends cleave" vids.

My healing is a bit different than the usual grid + clique combo. It makes playing a melee and a healer tolerable in dungeon runs with other people who take random damage all the time.
It's here: https://www.dual-boxing.com/archive/...p/t-53137.html
Macros are out of date. I haven't touched MW in a long time but the idea is the same.
