im just gonna wait and see how blizzard will do this it all depends on how original they gonna make it

Example 1. only Alliance paladins & only horde that can be shamans or not
2. texture updates or not cause original mean less loading stress on pc means more accounts we can run

but i would prolly at least have 1 of each class in my team for buffs/portals etc then add as much ranged classes as possible

Plan on running a Warrior - Druid - Shaman - Priest - Mage team, not entirely sure about the mage yet but we'll see. The survivability from 3 different healing classes that can all do decent range DPS is going to be a lot of fun.

So, what's your plans?

That sounds just about right. I started boxing with 5 hunters back in classic, and went with Paladin - Priest - Mage - Druid - Shaman when BC came out. Replace Paladin with Warrior and things should be fairly similar outside of warrior tanking at the time being significantly different from Paladin AOE spam. Will probably go with that again since melee teams were such a pain. I recall Xzin(sp?) being fairly effective at PvP with his 4 mages and a Priest.

Then again, I could go alliance and go Warrior - Priest - Mage - Druid - Warlock. Like everyone else has said, kind of depends on what this whole thing shakes out looking like. Would LOVE to have the Flex Raid mechanic make it in and be able to theoretically 10-box everything, but odds of that happening seem small.

It'll last until people realize that there are some changes to Vanilla that must be done. Also, consider taint weren't a thing either and a lot more of WoW was accessible from Lua.
