On average for 4 hunters and a disc priest how fast was it to kill hogger? (5 mins?)

Either way 1 month is worth about 40k is you do it on 11 groups of characters.

With 1 profession based character (leatherworking namely) you can make 7-10k in one hour (which is the equivalent of doing most of your weekly dungeon quests)

So assuming it takes 5 mins to do each (you can only do 5 instances per hour per account) it would take you 11 hours to get the 11kish gold

So IMO that isn't worth it,

At least you could make that much an hour when I was still playing with mote of harmony farming.

Yes it takes me 5 mins.. and how can you make 7-10k in one hour with leatherworking.. I have 2 max leatherworkers and must be doing something wrong!

Leg armors average sells for 600g (on a high pop server)

You can farm 70-120 motes of harmony + gold + trash + greens + more from plundered chests (you can farm the leather VERY easily depending on classes and kill speed in a few locations, normally one hour of farming leather will cover 4 hours of farming motes)

You can make 7-12 leg armors an hour (easily 100 leg armors in 10 hours which is about 6k an hour)

You can technically farm both the leather and the motes at the same time as well which will yield higher GPH normally but there are only a few spots to do it (one of them got nerfed hard).
