I played rated bg last night.

What a disaster, I went 2-7 and the two I won were cause the oppenents were not there....

What you say must be true, I thought he actually won 40 percent but given I could not even get ONE KILL in 9 games and lost so badly it was a joke.

I cant understand this, I cant instakill anyone with NINE mages? I was doing very well in AV by comparison.

I will try some more, I mean I know boxers will die easy to comparable live oppenents but not even one kill.....

Wins trades to get gear ..... it dosnt even occur to me that someone would play like that.

Well he is at a disadvantage not using isboxer for sure..

Well, The difference is that rated bgs aren't droves of window-lickers and bots. They're going to use their defensive cooldowns appropriately and chain cc you to the graveyard.

Rated BGs are basically Arena level play.
They're not casual, like a normal BG.

Assume everything is optimal, or as optimal as they can make it.
Most likely 'fun' specs that aren't the best choice, won't be seen often.

You're comparing two extremes - AV, the most uncoordinated, lowest gear, easiest BG in WoW, to arena type coordination with full gear, rated BGs. AV is a joke, I barely consider it PvP.

Roll shamans, then you'll at least get one kill

After going through the grinding of conquest points for weapons, which I still have another week of, the win trading pisses me off. I'm now officially in the disliking Prepared club and done defending him when others post videos humiliating him

Hey Owltoid you say you are grinding conquest. What exactly are you doing? Running one guy at a time with other players? Arena? I would assume that if I ran 5 in an arena I would get slaughtered even worse. Is 2v2 viable?



I finally killed one guy today lol ... then they camped me at the GY ....


Well I killed one more and won a few more cause no oppenents (I guess maybe people drop if they hate the map or something but I got six free wins and 15 horrible losses) enough to get everyone the conquest trinket. That was my goal so its back to leveling....

Most likely seeing that he is a 5 boxer he is grinding random bg's. its 100 a win once a day and then 50 every win after that. Painstaking but it is, what it is

Random BGs - a ton of them. This is the weekend to do them with IoC and AV.

It's easier for me since I choose to only PvP with 4 (five take too many spots in my opinion). Since I have five accounts, I queue as a group with all 5 (random BG), check out which one popped with the odd man out. If I don't like that random BG, then I leave the queue with my shaman, /afk with the scout, log into another 90 and repeat.

When I had crappy gear I'd only play in the 40 mans, which worked pretty well, but it was a lot of grinding as the win % isn't 100.

Now that I have OK gear (fully upgraded honor gear, crappy weapons), I have enough power to hold my own in 10 and 15 mans so I can do any random. Often I'll search for a healer to queue with, or look at who is playing in the random BG and ask them to heal my team. If they do, then it's often a win. Once I get my PvP weapons (next week) I expect to melt faces and nearly always win.
