Farming spots for cloth/leather/motes?

Tillers revered, Motes of harmony crops, trade for golden lotus... cash up!! OR, the vegetables used for the BiS stat foods sell for a fair amount on the AH, they are a decent money maker. Juicycrunch carrots and mogu pumpkins go for 10g EACH.

Gawd it's good having many farms lol :P

To clarify, with Tillers revered you get 12 plots to farm which daily yield 12 motes of harmony?

Yes.. i just got exalted on my main team and get 16 motes a day each.. banking most of them for when they go BoA ( if they ever do )

Yes, this is a good reason to get multiple teams to level 87 and start the rep grind

I just found a good farming spot for us multiboxers. I skimmed this thread and didn't see it mentioned so here it is. In Vale of Eternal Blossoms, there is a cave at 27.37 , 19.31.
Patrols of lvl 90 elites spawn pretty quickly and come out of the cave and continue down the path. I took a potion of luck and my five ele shamans and farmed for an hour. This is what I got:

500g
43 Motes of Harmony
29 Greens
320 windwool cloth
8 ghost iron ore
2 white trillium ore
16 black trillium ore
10 Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Keys. (I am told these are worth hanging onto but haven't researched why yet)
And various random grey which I have yet to sell.

As a bonus, each kill gives 11 Rep with the Black Prince up to honored.
There is a quest I almost did which should be avoided if you want to farm these guys. I forget the name but it was a golden Lotus quest where an npc rogue hits you with his aoe stealth and sneakes you up this cave so you can plant a bombs and seal the cave. If you hand in this quest, these mobs will no be available to you anymore as you will enter a different phase. They may be available elsehwere, I do not know.

PS. The mob in the back of the line is a mage and he hurts, kill him first. Hope this helped.

If you have done the first golden lotus quests.. you can no longer do this. This is the phased part before you seal off the cave. those keys open chests that give you random tradeskill mats/motes or whole spirits of harmony and a rep item that is blue or epic.one gives 140ish rep with GL and the epic gives 400+. the keys are rare drops off any mobs in the zone.. if you got 10 in one hour.. thats awesome!

Thanks. I was just looking at this on wowhead and I guess unless you do this part, there is no rep gaining with Golden Lotus for you. I may have to farm up a couple hundred keys and then do the quest. I also forgot to mention, I took one of my 85 toons here with four of my shamans and he was getting 6k rested xp per kill with 6 mobs in each pack, so this may be a good place to grind out some lvls since they spawn so fast as give good loot at the same time.

When i did the quest.. i failed to read that i was supposed to follow the npc and stay in his stealth bubble.. so i was killing the mobs and got a lot of loot before I realized what i should be doing. But at the end when the cave closes, I remember wishing i had known the mobs would be gone forever..because its definitely a non stop supply of 'waves' of mobs. I will do other factions first with my next team and farm the crap out of this spot as well 8)

Can you please direct me to this quest? I just opened up the Gate to the Valley. What quests are you referring to that will be phased out if you complete it? My toons just made lvl87 to open up the Gate with Xuen, the Celestial experience and A Witness to History....

Remember with the new rep system you should get one toon to revered first.

Seems like best idea is having your teams farm rep with different factions until at least revered, then move everyone over to tillers.
