Why do you have this sequence in every macro? "/castsequence [nochanneling] reset=combat/alt Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Boil, null"? Putting it it one would do the same no?

Because as Ualaa states, cast sequences that are the same always processed at the same time no matter where it is called from. I have used this setup with my Unholy DK since I started her in Cata. This way my diseases are always put up before my runes are wasted on anything else.
Now that I am using a priority setup, though, I just segmented off the sequence into the top priority in my list. But with a multistep setup, I needed them across every macro so that it would get my diseases up before moving on to my spam strikes or spreading them.
