Yes, it's perfectly acceptable to use a macro extender. They've been around for a long time.

thx, i downloaded bindpad and was able to add the macro now, but im used to using wow macroes where i can drag macro icon to my bars, when i try to do that with bindpad, wont let me drop it onto my bars, anyone know how I could ?

With Bindpad, you set the keybindings in the Bindpad panel, you don't place them on hotbars. After you create the macro, left click the icon in the panel and assign a button.

If I recall SuperDuperMacro did normal macros that you put on your bars.

I am too lazy to try another addon, it works fine with bindpad, just weird not seeing the keybind icon no being on the action bar.

Also if anyone is using the warlock macroes and doing a copy and paste, take note that:

It's not meant to be that way but it's how it shows up on the forum. You can only have so many consecutive letters before the forum automatically inserts a space. Why? I have no idea but it's been like that since the old vB 3.x forum software.

From what I understand, it's to prevent the forum from being forced to sidescroll. If one post in a thread stretches the forum width so that you have to scroll, then all the posts on the page are also stretched, so you have to keep scrolling back and forth to read them, which is annoying.

People can avoid the issue with the automatic breaking by using the code tags to wrap their macros. It's the # symbol in the editor or you can just use [code ][/code ] without the spaces.

If you can do it with an addon, it's permissible within Warcraft.
In the past, they've changed what addons can and cannot do...

And whether it's allowed or not, within Warcraft.
It is definitely not illegal, and will not result in your being charged/arrested.
