They're doing maintenance on the morning of the 19th. Presumably this'll get patched.

I've seen like two posts in the forum about this. Not even sure they've "noticed it".
It certainly is a bug when we take into account the way follow breaks but so far there's no official ackowledgement about it.

I'll open a ticket IG as soon as my 3h queue ends

I wish you are right though, as this is a fun spoiler
