The WoW-branded SteelSeries mouse has those same functions, despite the fact that automation is very clearly against the rules of the game.
From Vyndree, about the original WoW SteelSeries Mouse, back in 2009 -
And now from the SteelSeries FAQ for the Cataclysm version, which is sold in the Blizzard Store -The user manual is incredibly misleading about delays and loops...
Not only was I shocked to read such "gray area" material in point one and most-definitely-against-the-rules material in item #2, but they followed up that section in the user guide with...1. Timing Control
Text (Auto Delay) - This option is selected by default and is designed to optimize the delays for proper in-game performance. If you are not sure what option to use - simply leave this option on.
Record Delay - When selected, it will record the delays in real time reflecting your typing speed when creating a macro. This option is useful when you need precise real-life timing for some advance macros.
No Delay - ...
2. Looping
You can loop the macro by enabling the Loop check-box and specifying the number of repetitions.
Branding doesn't automatically mean it's incapable of breaking said game's rules.Whats the difference between the WoW: Cataclysm MMO gaming mouse and the original World of Warcraft MMO gaming mouse?

-Software: We’ve taken the great functionality of the original World of Warcraft mouse software and made it even better. Noob questions incoming.
I only learnt about inner space and ISBoxer after the beta weekend and have since registered and installed it after reading this forum.
So my questions:
1) If I press launch is it meant to open 1 launcher or 2? Or does it open the second launcher after you hit play on the first one?
Just from watching a video on the site it opened up 4 WOW launchers for him, but mine is currently opening up 1 swtor launcher. (I have the latest versions of both Inner Space and ISBoxer as I just downloaded them and have added the launch path to inner space and exported my char set from Isboxer)
2) Regarding the targeting etc, I have a G19 and I was thinking I would do the following.
- Make the targeting the 2nd party member (F2) also have a second key bind in game lets say shift f2
- Make the target of target Alt+T currently I think, have a second key, lets say shift f3
- Make a key bind for follow, lets say shift f4
- Program a G key to fire shift F2, shift F3 and shift F4 to all the windows excluding the current
Would this mean I only have to press the one G key to get the 2nd character to both follow and get the mains target in 1 button press?? - If you have a better suggestion for me please let me know.
Other things I picked up on where that:
- I need to disable instant swapping
- I need to enable make the game believe it is running in the foreground
- Need to enable the hold option for mapped keys for the modifiers to work
- Check option to allow access to same class quest, just need to run the quest twice
- Shift + Alt + m - keymap toggle
- Shift + Alt + r - repeater toggle
Anything else important there for a complete noob to this???
Thanks in advance!!
You launch your teams from the innerspace icon on your taskbar. just click your chosen team name
When you enter in your swtor login details into there swtor launcher, the game loads to the server/character section screen. This is when swtor launcher two will popup wanting details for your second account.
every game works differently, swtor is a pain in having to deal with 1 launcher at a time
EDIT:
If you run the IsBoxer wizard to create your teams, two buttons appear in the top left corner of your game window that control turning keymaps and repeater off and on or use the shortcuts- Shift + Alt + m - keymap toggle
- Shift + Alt + r - repeater toggle
Anything else important there for a complete noob to this???

Hey guys I was asked to chime in with the setups I use. I haven't read the entire thread yet to see if you have come up with the same solutions that I have, but I am pressed for time at the moment!
If this is helpful awesome, if not sorry for being redundant ;p
Assist
Execute when hotkey pressed or released.
Step 1
Target Party 1
Step 2
Acquire Target of Target
Follow (I find this setup very useful for melee DPSing, I will explain more later!)
Execute when hotkey pressed or released.
Step 1
Target Party 1
Follow target
Step 2
Acquire Target of Target
Companion Attack
Execute when hotkey pressed or released.
Step 1
Assist
Companion attack hotkey (Just the default one in game, or whatever you change it to)
Step 2
Companion attack hotkey
DPS Spam
Execute when hotkey pressed or released.
Step 1
Assist
DPS Abilities in priority (Cooldowns first!)
Step 2
Follow
Companion Attack
For the above hotkey, I have another version that I will use if I am using ranged characters. The ranged version removes the follow command on the second step. I use this version situationally for more micro intensive fights. Otherwise I just use the above version with autofollow.
The way the DPS spam macro works is this. Every time you press the hotkey, you first assist party member 1, you fire off the first DPS ability you can, and then on the keystroke release you autofollow which reacquires the NPC you are currently DPSing. In addition, you can choose to have all companions focus fire with you by selecting who you send that command to, or you can have just the DPS companions focus fire while any tank companions are excluded from such commands.
To give you a brief overview of my total setup. I setup a specific hotkey for every DPS ability. I use shift f1-f11 and ctrl shift f1-f11 on my left and right sidebars respectively.
One pitfall I can hopefully help you avoid is that you need to ensure that you use the SAME modifiers for things like target party X and follow target and acquire target of target. For example, since I use shift in all of my keys, I need to make sure my hotkeys that relate to assisting and following also use shift. This might be an obvious situation but I accidentally broke my assist and follow hotkeys one afternoon and spent the next 2 or 3 hours trying to figure out what the hell was wrong
If this is helpful, glad to help. If there are any further questions feel free to fire them I will pay more attention to this thread now that I know one PC is and that this thread is active.
The target of target at the end of the follow macro is very useful because it keeps your slaves targeted on the target. This may be more of an aesthetic, but I felt like I was missing fewer attacks with the slave character when it was remained targeting the NPC I was killing rather than targeting me, targeting my target, swinging, targeting me, targeting my target etc.
This system works fine for strictly melee characters and ranged characters. However, it is not as streamlined for Operatives/Scoundrels that are primarily a melee class that also has some ranged abilities. What happens is that your slave character(s) will do a sort of stop and go shuffle as they run towards the target to begin meleeing it. They will take a step, shoot with their freebie attack, take a step, shoot with the freebie attack. It isn't a huge deal when you are fighting elite, strong or boss level monsters. You do have some efficiency issues with grinding out normal level monsters however as you will do the majority of the damage with the main character.
With the DPS spam, what happens is, on the first keystroke down you acquire the target and fire off a DPS ability. On the keystroke up you stay on the target (because the follow macro tells you to do target of target) and follow. It works flawlessly for pure melee teams. Your guys will buzz around you staying on target doing good DPS!
If you guys want, I can give my full run down of how I run my setup sort of Mosg2 manifesto style. I tend to establish a framework as much as possible to allow for as much plug and play of a keyset to a character set as possible.
