I have both the G13 and the n52te (aka Nostromo, slightly different but functions nearly 100% the same).

Go with the new razer version, imho. Likely to have support for a long time and to me it is a lot easier to use than the G13. Nostromo has less buttons but what it has is laid out better and feels better in the hand. Too many buttons gets a little confusing on something you are using without looking at it (my problem with the G13).
