I gots scammed outa 120K

I'm confused. The item is BoP. How could you buy it from someone else?
The only way I could see this being legal (in terms of the EULA / ToS) is if the item was BoE and you sell it in the AH or in a trade window.

You get the code and enter the code in on Battle Net, kinda like you would enter the cata code when you buy cata.

You then get the item in the ingame mail.

And if they reverse the CC charge the item just vanish from your account.

Probably I should have looked all this up before I did the transactions but It just did not occur to me there would be a problem buying an item you see in game with in game gold.

Someone had purchased several codes for the mount on the blizzard store with either a bogus card, or later called up their CC issuer and asked to reverse the charge.

The OP had paid gold and the scam artist gave them codes to redeem the mount through Blizzard's site, probably in whispers. Once the charge-back went through, Blizzard pulls the mount from the account that redeemed the code because they never got paid.

It's against the ToS to pay for in game items with real money, as well as paying in game money for out of game products/services, unless provided by Blizzard, of course.

Shady situation, of course. Blizzard won't reimburse your loss in this case, sorry.

Right, Im not going to get one gold back from all this, but they won't ban or even warn my accounts, as I am the victim.

The repercussions aren't what makes something against the ToS, No matter how you word it, it's against the ToS, you said it yourself, you got scammed, GG move along, nothing to see here.
