Default Lead toon getting CCed in Arena

I am having a recurring problem with y arena matches lately. Unfortunately through work and family commitments, I am forced to play later with less teams on. As a result, I find myself playing against 3 other similarly ranked teams. Now these teams aren't anything special and the first time I play them for the night I tend to win. Once they play me once however, they adopt a couple of tactics for subsequent games which screw me up completely.

The first is switching to 3 heals. This makes it a bit harder for me to take down my initial target whilst their rogue/mage focus my priest. I am hoping that the changes to blood runes and howling blast buff will help with this situation of taking down my first target.

My other problem is that these teams will focus on chain ccing my priest instead of trying to kill him and then take down my DKs one by one. They do this through a combination of rogue stuns/blind, polymorph and cyclone. I tend to trinket out of the first one, but with this sort of combination I find it impossible to actively heal their focussed target. My other issue is that this screws around with my priests target and the DKs will quite often run off or start hitting whichever targets are attacking them.

I have tried running my DKs as blood against these teams to improve their survivability but between the lost targetting and their poor dps/cc/snares, I just can't snag a kill. I think switching to a death strike rotation and using dark succor would be useful if the focussed toon can actually get in range of a target to land melee hits.

The targetting problem is something which I am not sure how to fix though. I use FTL set up through Isboxer for targetting so basically my DKs will quickly assist my priest then switch back. When my priest loses his target through cc this screws the whole system. Anyone have ideas on how to make this system "cc proof"?

    Cheers

You pretty much gotta clear target and reaquire. I think you can have one button thats:
    /cleartarget
    /targetlasttarget

Yeah switching is generally what I do now, but I need to add some of my lead setup to the other chars to do so.

I thought I remembered someone mention something about "sticky targetting" being a solution for this but I have played around with the in game options and can't get anything to work.

On a sidenote, even when switching, I lose up to about 1 second to the switch plus latency slowingmy new target selection. On average what sort of latency do you other melee multiboxers play with? I don't jump into arena unless I am getting a solid 300ms but I don't often get better than this...

Before FTL, we used to use something like:

    #show Whatever
    /targetlastenemy
    /assist [target=focus]
    /cast Whatever

It is not necessarily the best, but at least if your lead is CC'd (so the slaves cannot read your target), they will at least continue to cast at the previous target.

Clearing and re-selecting the target, or switching toons is probably a better solution... as you get to choose who they DPS.

    I average 150-200ms of latency.
