It seems that you can have more than one cast in the macro so this makes a low level druid i win button:

    Code:
    #show Fervent Strike
    cast Shield of Oak
    cast Trickster Spirit
    cast Fervent Strike
    just spam

PS: Maybe we can start a RIFT section under macros as well
You cant have two of the same GCD and cooldown spells. or two non cooldown spells. You can have something like long cooldown spell+long recast time spell+reactionary spell+spamable. So you could not have two spells that have the same recast time or no cast time. Unless they changed something since beta. I'm guessing thats what you have there.

Shield is a 30 sec CD
    Trickster is 8 sec CD
    Strike is instant melee attack.

This macro worked yesterday @ Headstart.

I agree it is NOT a cast sequence, it is more like the Proc mechanic which skips the spells that are on CD.

exactly! So you can have a sequence, just not like were used to in WoW. But with they way abilities work in this game, you get the same effect. You just want to add everything BEFORE your spammable. So long cooldowns in order longest to shortest, reactionary spells, then spam spell. Also i don't think you can have two abilities with the same GCD and recast timer. You can also add item uses and pettattack in them.

Something i need to test on my bards. Bards cadence spell is based on your currently equipped main hand OR ranged. So if you have a Bow that is bad ass and your main hand sucks, you want to have your BOW equipped for more dps/healing with cadence and all your other bard spells. So once i log in i will test a macro like this " /startrangedattack /petattack /cast cadence ( or whatever spell ) I think that works.. will confirm later. Since i sometimes use my ranger abilities, keeping my bow equipped will benefit both. I'll always choose bow upgrades over melee.
