I'll be doing at least 2 groups and probably a single character as well. One of my rl friends is interested in trying EQ w/ the TL server. He always ends up at least dualboxing too.Originally Posted by Korruptor
I can be anti-social at times so I'll probably do 6. I'm running a full group on Bert....I ain't even going to attempt to spell it lol, SK/Cleric/4 Mages(alll DE's), just so I can learn the game. If i can pick up enough maybe I'll put am Enchanter in for a Mage. Not really getting a tatse of mana regening suck, so it's like I have no concept of how bad it will be w/o one.

Your group will work. If your mage's focus on mainly using DPS pets (fire) you can burn mobs down fine. The frequency of your pulls may not be as fast with an enchanter but you will have a lot of pet damage requiring no mana.
I've played EQ on and off for years and, while this is more of the classic game play to start, one thing I always remember is that many types of groups work. Some are just more effective then others.

It might be a good idea to look into forming a guild together on Fippy Darkpaw.
No need to put up with others scrutinizing our play style.

Im debating what to play as im an old veteran who played in 1999 till WoW came out, All the talk about no to boxing and that on the fippy forums had put a damper on me boxing it BUT you guys are giving me hope.
So i think i will box a group of 5 or 6 and id be up to joining the guild, just not looking forward to the spite of every other non boxer!
