Training Master Riding (310%)

Now I heard the VPD ever after this patch will be 280 rather than 310. I got my VPDs this Brewfest.....sitting in my banks because I did not have the appropriate riding skill.....did I just lose 5k x5 because I didn't upgrade prior to patch and now have to spend an additional 5k x 5 for the 310 boost in addition? I can't check now

This looks to be the case, yes.

Basically it works like this - all mounts now are the same speed. They go as fast as your mount skill lets you go. If you have 150% then all flying mounts will go 150%. same with 280% and 310%.

If you already had a 310% mount learned before 4.01 then you automatically get the 310% "Master" mount skill.

Apart from that you have to buy the 310% skill now.

Nah, it's not that bad. Discount applies to both riding skills.
