My guild did the first kingslayer kill GDKP on the server.

Those are not pugs, they are made up of 3-4 top guild's alt's. Theres a big difference. Blood legion and other guilds on our server DO NOT PUG AT ALL. They run in-guild alt runs.

For a pug, we went 6/12 heroic. Not quite 9 but good enough.

There is always going to be one who had to sit out, couldn't make it to mains run or missed the alt run and who still wants to do some bosses. Be it with trade chat scum or other friends, the general level of playing will be higher with some many quality guilds/players around. I've seen several pugs / gdkp runs going 12/12, for a while. That's my only point I wanted to make actually.

But saying "oh, others elsewhere have done it" doesn't take away from the fact it was a server first.

In addition to Blackrock and Mal'ganis, let's not forget good ol' Kil'jaeden... been doin' it over on KJ for quite some time.

I'm very sorry, but i just can't believe that only 2 realms on the US servers have had a pug that killed the LK. That doesn't make sense at all to me. About 14k guilds have killed him world wide on 25m which equals roughly 500k players or 5% of total player base. And we are > half year after he was beaten for the first time. Put up a post in mmo champ US first section and ask there if your pug was the 3rd one to go 12/12. But whatever.

That doesn't change your achievement of raid leading a pug though to go 12/12.

There are "pugs" that consist of 50% of a guild that have done it in MANY places. But with the actual meaning of a PuG.. There were no more than 2 persons from any particular guild.

Neither here nor there though. I'm proud of what I did, all that matters.
