atT is a german speaking hardcore multiboxing guild and i think we switch to Aegwynn because there is a big, a really big pool with allys what we can bash and some really good players on it too ( /bow theed [but you must die also ] )

ilike it playing on the weaker fraction and then it comes to a lot of open pvp ( i hope )

If a english guy want to join atT, its absolutly no problem for me, but he should understand german when i flame

the usa did so much collateral damage with nukes (damage to civil property and civilian casualties, caused by military operations) , they arent better anyway

i think there are prejudices against everything. In addition i think WW2 is gone quite a long time. We should not forget what was done there, but most of the people that life here now, don't have anything to do with that kind of stuff. And you will always find some idiots if you search hard enough.

To the both of you ... please don't put words in my mouth i never said cq make it look like i said anything about it. I didn't say a word about any war. I referred to a stereotype that exists among many if not most Europeans. And it's not something I make up, it's the result of many polls, social opinion makers and many jokes that never get old. Ask many Europeans who they do not like (or hate), and Germany will be amongst them. However if you ask them in which country they want to live, germany will be amongst them as well. So the reason why this stereotype exists has several reasons:

- The way the German language sounds adds to the 'arrogant' connotation. (i know that's not true since we had to read Heinrich Heine during our german classes).
- The way the German national football team has played for ages (the stereotype of defending with 11 and win with a lucky goal in the last minute).
- The way some of the Germans play BG's in wow with premade teams (check the various posts on my battlegroup forums, that says enough). The stereotype exists that a german will rather go with 3 healers in 3v3 and bore their opponents to death instead of trying to kill them (i disagree, since the germans usually give us a good fight in our BG's).
- If we tell a joke of the format 'a dutchman, an american, a german, ... were sitting together', then the dutchie will be the cheap ass, the american will be the stupid bragger and the german will take the beating. Don't underestimate the importance of humor to form and keep stereotypes ongoing.
- The way many big German companies are structured with the clear chain of command, the strictness and the politeness required (which is not a bad thing, just different from for example an american company)
- ... etc etc

I can come up with a bunch more reasons why this stereotype exists. But that won't change the fact that for a german it's easier to gain hated rep with most of the european factions than most other countries. People use stereotypes all the time, but that has little to no value. As soon as they get to know a german person that stereotype fades away.

For my little niche sport I went a lot to germany, and I have many friends there. And it's one of the more fun countries to be in to my experience. I can give many examples why i experience it like that, but that will probably make you feel too good, so not gonna do that

long story note, you used a stereotype 'if you're not hated you do something wrong', and I jumped on that with another stereotype in a joking way. Nothing more and nothing less than that. You took offense (i believe so from reading your replies) that placed my comment out of the context.

note 1: I can only chuckle when i think about the idea that one day there would be several german boxers on my (english speaking) realm. That would cause the best drama in the world and sounds like a wet dream.

note 2: If there is one german speaking horde boxing club to be made in cata, I'll definitely check that out to see if i fit. And obviously communicate in german (or something that looks like it at least).

Hi Littleburst,

i would have no problem having a mixed guild. We had some guys and a lady from england in our gild at vanilla. Was kind a fun, cause the raidlead had to explain everything twice (English and German). But i think most of the ppl here would like to stay on a german server. I think we will land on Arthas. I will have to transfer anyway. So for me it would make no big difference. But i think that most of the boxers from germany are already on arthas or were till they stopped playing. Some of them will come back for Cataclysm. I am afraid, that if we are too many boxers on that server, the alliance will jump off some cliffs .

How many guys are you on your server Littleburst?

Are the multiboxers who are online atleast once a week. So i'm pretty sure Gimp is the biggest EU guild.

i'm sure that atleast batan, ilill and me would be up for serious pvp. Not sure about woko, probably a bit more casual. Not sure about others.

Sorry, but Gimp is no opinion for me, for me its a PvE guild an we are a pvp guild

and we speak german, in cata its with the rated bgs important that we can change fast and switch tactics, orders or thinks like that, in pve, when all pps know the tactic its not really important

Sorry man, but that makes less then zero sence. Gimp is nor a pvp nor a pve guild atm. It's just a bunch of boxers and that's it. who the F cares if the guild is pve or pvp orientated? If you have a pve guild with 10 good pvpers and a pvpguild with 5 good pvpers, i'd prefer the pve guild.

We even did more pvp together as boxers then we did pve. Aoe and howsterd 2manning icc 10 is the only exeption. If you people decide to go to a german speaking server with a good argument. I can fully understand that. But that.... :/

The way i look at this is; you need:
1. a good Battlegroup.
2. a decent realm.
3. as many pvp orientated boxers(who have a clue) as possible on 1 realm.
(4. german?)

If option 4 is a must, then i think the decision is allready made and i'll shut up here. Would be a shame though.
