The different teams I try the more I become convinced that melee is the way to go for rated BG's. Being so incredibly mobile while doing damage is just... Insane.

I tend to agree in WOLTK. But we don't know how much sturdier cloth classes are getting in cata. They said globalling any class in pvp won't work anymore even if you go melee against cloth. That means the 5 disc priests could just keep moving and spamming aoe. But they lack a gap closer, since their main strength is in holy nova, not in ranged dps which requires casting when smite is not instant.

At this moment betting on what comp will work the best in RBGs in cata is probably premature. We need to see the talent trees and spells finalized before we can start doing any serious theorycrafting.
