2x NVIDIA GTX 285 (not in SLI, I have each one running a monitor)
Intel SSD (I have 6 installs of LoTRO on this one drive, could never get it to run multiple instances off one install)

I have one instance running on one monitor, I left the graphic settings at the normal defaults. The other 5 are running on the second monitor, and I turned the settings down to low. I used IS to spread out the processor cores among the 6 instances, I forget the exact distribution.
Everything loads very fast off the SSD, I use the mouse broadcasting in IS to click the login button for all 6 characters at once and they all load in right away at the same time. Same thing for zoneing into instances and buildings, it only takes a couple seconds for everyone to zone.

I'll check the performance monitor on my G15 keyboard when I'm playing tonight and let you know the usage %s it shows for CPU and RAM, that might give you an idea of what to get for a new computer.
I was around 30% CPU, and 55% RAM usage while playing tonight.

WOW just WOW! ( and not the game ) .... I bought ISboxer .... i swear ive been hardware boxing for over a decade ... why am i finding this so complicated ... i cannot get anythign to launch but one instance through IS ( followed that video exactly too ) ... heh id prolly pay some IT guy/gal to come get me up and running at this point for about 500 dollars ... i cannot believe i can not figure this out ... i have a decently high IQ
