The thing about these transactions is that they are fluff pieces. They have no outward bearing on the game itself. Having a pet or new mount won't down Sindragosa. I may look cool (huge stretch) but I won't play any better. Blizz will never sell actual usable items/gold as that would drastically change the game (and they are doing that just fine themselves )
